  1. Got this on a BF deal and paid even less than this. I would happily pay this much for it though all day long. It is also one of my favourites.
  2. Sounds sweet and I tried a lot of the many presets without any glitches. I purchased the MFreeFXBundle license a while back and was able to activate MCharmVerb using the MFreeFXBundle license file. The differences between paid and unpaid version are listed here if anyone wants to know ... https://www.meldaproduction.com/MFreeFXBundle
  3. Thanks Larry! Saw these while I was away visiting family for half term and managed to buy them on my phone. Great value, cheers!
  4. Thanks Larry. There's been a few free addons from this developer for ChordPotion. Think I will go for the full Sundog suite when it's next on sale.

    MODO Drum

Couldn't get to my PC in time today otherwise it would have been a no brainer Actually for all the IK stuff I own I reckon $99 should be the standard crossgrade price!

    MODO Drum

JRR have corrected the price now Never mind. I already have too many drums! ?
  7. Thanks @scook and @Mesh good to know before spending the money!
  8. Me too Larry! I am tempted by the price to upgrade Halion Sonic 3 to Halion 6 though (£43 inc VAT).
  9. Now that IS very tempting!
  10. I tried the demo once a long time ago and found it a bit clunky to use. Just tried it again and it looks similar to what I recall. I prefer the results with Melodyne although creating harmonies is more of a manual process with Melodyne (still quite easy though). IMHO the better option for vocal harmonies is Antares Harmony EVO which I picked up in a sale when it was about the same price as this.

    CbB Updated

Weird that..BA didn't work properly for me for ages and then worked fine for a while before breaking again. The last two updates though have worked fine using BA and when it stops working again at least the manual update method is pretty easy.

    CbB Updated

I think you might be right there Mesh. At least it certainly seems that way.
  13. I just applied Build 26.01.0.28 hotfix using Bandlab Assistant and it all went smoothly and BA worked correctly. The Instrument Track Per Output now correctly inserts tracks in a folder if Create Folder is selected. I appreciate the other stability and bug fixes. Thanks Bakers!

    CbB Updated

    Thanks Larry. Details here...
  15. I also normally like to do things manually so that I can control where files are downloaded to and keep files for backup. They have improved Sonokinetic Manager a lot though so you can set things like the default download server (Ireland for me), download folder location, whether to keep or delete the files after download and there's even an option to "Redirect download button to direct download page".
  16. Thanks Larry. I found that the folder location of each library (three dots on the right hand side of the Sonokinetic Manager) was set to whatever you last installed (Noir in my case) so I manually changed it to the correct library location for each library before I did the update. Also, when you click on the "update" button it pops up a message about where the Kontakt folder is located. This is the root Kontakt folder and I just left it as the default (S:\Kontakt Instruments in my case). The updates are very small ... between 5 to 20 Mbytes so don't take long to download.
  17. Also the free mini filter from a couple of years ago.

    Seurat 1.6

I still have the free demo version installed and it is one of the best demos of anything I have. It has lots of great sounding presets . I think it was Reid (TTF) who brought my attention to it previously and he will probably have more information. You can get the demo by scrolling down on the above page. Don't forget to install the snapshots as described in the user guide to get the most out of it. This is the lowest price I have seen the full version so I think it's time I bought it. Cheers Larry.
  19. Hope it helps a bit with your decision Starise. To my ears the Strings in ST4 MAX sound better than their equivalent in Miroslav Philharmonic both having lots of articulations. I have quite a few other orchestral libraries but no Spitfire apart from what's in LABS so cannot compare with say Albion 1. If it would help and you have any "orchestral MIDI" you would like to audition using ST4 MAX instruments then you can send it to me and I will try to make a CbB project out of it using the relevant ST4 MAX Orchestral instruments. Articulations might be tricky as ST4 uses keyswitches (or separate instruments) which would have to be added to the MIDI data although if you have the score I could use that to set them up (or just tell me which instruments/articulations/bars etc). There are no orchestral choir samples within ST4 MAX, relying instead on those included in ST3 which vary from awful to quite good. ST4 MAX does have 6-voice vocal ensembles which are excellent but not really orchestral and more intended for various genres of popular music (Soul, Brazilian, Pop etc) along with shouts, Uhhs, Ooos, Ahhs etc. As you say, Keys and Guitars are well catered for, sound great and there's even a decent strummer engine, but you don't have the level of detailed manipulation compared to libraries by OTS, Indiginus etc.
  20. That's a shame Was wondering when they would realise that it's no longer Christmas! Maybe there will be a Valentines deal code?
  21. Simon, did you use the web page "contact us" online to email them or do you have an email address? Thanks EDIT: Wow! They replied immediately using "contact us" on their web page.

    High Road

This is an excellent composition and recording Dan! Very professional sounding mix as with all of your recordings. You manage to keep it interesting throughout and it's like listening to an epic saga in music form. I can imagine playing this while journeying through the Fjords or some other mountainous locations.

    Peg

Excellent cover @steve@baselines.com ! Well done. That's a hard song to do with all of the vocal parts and you also did an excellent job on the guitar solo. (thinks... I must give that solo a try ?)
