I have R4 and Nimbus that came with the iZotope bundle (not to mention lots of others). So from the above comments I can't work out whether I need this or not. ? I'm erring on the side of not bothering as I already have the PB freebie.

Cheers Larry! Do they REALLY mean that you have to un-install previous versions before installing the update and then re-activate it? That seems unusual in this day and age.

You can download a demo from the product page on the right hand side. I had a quick play and it seems good but I want to explore the MIDI options a bit more.

Yes it seems to do something very similar although I don't have a Frequout pedal (yet) my sustainer pickup produces similar results! Love that "Flying a Blue Dream"-esque demo in the above playlist.

It's not something I use all the time but when I do it's either for infinite sustain (similar to an e-bow) e.g. for legato runs or for re creating acoustic feedback on an overdriven sound. The sustainer pickup also lets you switch in feedback on a different harmonic which mimics what can happen in a live situation. From the brief play I had with AcouFiend it is able to cover those scenarios to some extent and is also MIDI controllable.

It seems pretty nice Soundwise. Excuse my ignorance as to who CA is but she/he must be inspired! Found this.. I have a Burny Les Paul with a sustainer pickup which I really like but would like to be able to do what it does on other guitars. Mesh convinced me to go for the Digitech pedal but I wondered if there was a software equivalent. I searched but drew a blank.... Until now!

Could this be the effect I have been looking for? (VST equivalent of a Freqout pedal by Digitech). Demoing it now. Any thoughts @cclarry or @Mesh?

Ah yes I saw the Try It button with a "download" symbol and assumed there was a downloadable demo. They have playable demos of their other products so it seems strange not to have one for this. I think I will email them.

I just noticed the Tape machines had been updated yesterday then realized that it was all of T-Racks updated to v5.3.1 on 3rd March. T-Racks v5.3.1 Release Notes 1. Fixed possible problem with Custom Shop Authorization (Note: Please ensure that you install the updated Custom Shop during the main installation process) 2. Fixed multiple option entries in undo/redo 3. Fixed possible problem with Suite resize which could cause the GUI to not be displayed correctly 4. Fixed Sunset Sound Studio Reverb - Wrong room image may be loaded when re-opening the GUI Amplitube v4.9.1 Update: I noticed that Amplitube was updated on 4th February to v4.9.1 - maybe I missed it (couldn't find it posted). The Release Notes just says "General reliability Improvements". Please note this information from Larry .... If you hit the "loop" problem, just run Custom Shop through Amplitube (it's the little shopping cart in the upper right hand corner) and that should solve the problem!
