I don't think you will regret it Mesh. If nothing else it's a fun plugin to use I have added a couple of videos to the post above.

We need a King /Crown reaction!

Yes tried it with CbB and S1Pro and both worked fine Mesh. The resulting melodies were very musical and quite a variety on offer. Many of these types of plugin tend to randomize everything which can be a bit hit and miss but this gives you some control over complexity etc and scale but also seems to come up with very musical rhythmical elements. I was able to use it on the fly and also drag and drop the midi to the DAW. It's supposed to come up with something new every time and that appears to be the case so far with limited testing. For what it does it is certainly worth 30 bucks. There are plenty of YouTube videos on this e.g.

Yes I have it and really like it (more so than iZotope Vocalsynth 2). It just seems to have more immediately usable presets than VS2.

Been waiting for this one ... https://www.jrrshop.com/evabeat-melody-sauce-midi-melody-creator Normal price $49 but $30.26 with code FORUM at JRR

@John CallI'm not a drummer but there are some free country "Train" MIDI patterns on this page near the bottom of the list which might help to understand how to put one together. Just download, then drag and drop one onto Cakewalk without any projects open and it will make a project with the MIDI and TTS-1 for drums. If you want to use SI-Drums just insert the SI-Drums instrument and point the MIDI track(s) output(s) to SI-Drums. Some of the tracks are type 1 with a separate track for each drum type and some are type 0 with all on one track. By examining each track in the PRV you should be able to see how the beats were made. Hope this helps.

I used them loads! ...not Well they are actually installed (I just checked). In fairness it looks like Ignite is integrated within HitFilm so I might have used it without realising. They also work in 3rd party video editors like Resolve and they appear under Open FX (stored in C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX ).

Nice, thanks Larry!

Sorry Aiden, just realised I missed this message. I have had a look through my HB account and there are quite a few bits that I haven't used. I think it's because I went for a bundle for example to upgrade to Vegas Pro 14 Edit and subsequently Pro 15 Edit which came with a load of other stuff that I wasn't really bothered about. I do have that vintage effects suite which I will have a look at although I suspect that I have other equivalents. I have also had some issues with Vegas Pro and stopped using it at version 15 after I had wasted hours editing a particular project which subsequently wouldn't complete rendering. I had similar problems with earlier versions and all of the "solutions" I found didn't work for me so I just decided to move to a different platform (DaVinci Resolve) which has been pretty much rock solid. I also use HitFilm Pro (another HB deal) for the occasional quick render. With this HB deal I am probably most curious about Video Pro X and the cost investment to find out isn't that great.

Yes I tried it the other day but no joy. I emailed them and they said it was already discounted enough. Fair nough!
-
You bet! Had us worried there for a while. Welcome back Larry ??

Yes I noticed that with the Juno 106 and it does sound fantastic! The Cloud memberships comparison page doesn't show any change in what's included for Core membership so I think it will go back to locked on 31st August just like the 808. I am also trying not to listen to it too much Then again there are a few nice sounding Juno 106 patches in the Zenology Preset Legends bank albeit without the nice Juno UI. The 4 new banks have some pretty good sounding patches in them by the way.
-
Yes,I guess so. I thought it unusual as other companies who have items on sale don't usually let you use the discounted vouchers from APD but worth the risk. No worries as I will definitely use it at some point based on how much I am enjoying Cinematic Keys.
-
I emailed SampleLogic and their reply was along the lines of... "It's already deeply discounted and the coupon was not supposed to work. That loophole has now been fixed".
-
Thanks Brian. Oh well, I hope I can find a use for the voucher in future. I will email SampleLogic though to see if there's anything that they can do.
-
Just tried the same and it said "Sorry, this coupon is not applicable to the products: ASSAULT for Kontakt Player." Maybe they have stopped it working?
-
Thanks for the heads up Vernon. I find with Cloud Manager that it always fails to download anything on first attempt with a network error. However if I ignore that a try again it usually works fine. Haven't tried it yet today though.

Link HERE. N.B This is Kontakt Player compatible so you don't need full Kontakt. ASSAULT is a massive suite of over 850 bone-crushing instruments and multis that transform sound design into superior cinematic percussive instruments. For more details see the link above. Reduced from $299.99 to $50

I am also impressed with the sounds and effects. Some of those pads are exquisite. The fx plugin also has it's own presets and some very nice ones included. This synth is a beast! I also like that it uses a serial for authorisation. I notice that there are Starter and Tutorial banks and a User Guide which I'm sure will come in handy. Their YouTube channel also has plenty of useful content and quite a few Rapid tutorials in Ruta's channel. How is the Trance pack? I couldn't decide on an expansion although Synthwave/Tropical Delight would be more my thing. The sale is still on so I might go back and get one of these. Useful to see the Roadmap and that rating/favorites is planned in the next version which I missed in the current version.

Great idea! With John behind it I firmly believe the sky literally IS the limit!

That's a pity. Thanks for the response though. I have given up with MF/GC as it's more trouble than it's worth if you are in the UK. I'm sure the Dune 3 demo will convince you abacab! Must give those others a try (Repro, Zebra 2 and Beatzille). I also have and like their other freebies. Spire is another one that John Lehmkuhl keeps mentioning so may be worth an audition. I also have Pigments 2 which is great and I understand that JL is working on a Unify library for it.

That's weird Matthew. I mean I paid the VAT but I'm in the UK so it's expected but there seems to be a number of similar issues raised in the Rapid KVR forum from folk who are not usually expected to pay VAT. https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/search.php?keywords=vat&t=470957&sf=msgonly

Worth watching some of the recent (last couple of months) Livestreams Mesh. John's way of demoing it just gets you hooked. Cloud City is also a great addon library also from their website.
