  1. Good point, what I should have said is that I have a few of their paid plugins and I like them and can see the value of multipass but I already have this type of plugin covered.
  2. I tried the demo and I have to agree. I have a few of their paid plugins so had more to play with but still not enough to convince me of its worth.
  3. Motif is a Multi Voice Smart Music Generator. NOTE: Built for Kontakt 5.8 & Kontakt 6 (I assume they mean the full version) Intro Offer is 59 EUR until 8th October when it goes back to regular price 89 EUR. I can't see a demo version but it does look interesting. https://rastsound.com/downloads/motif/

I'm at the same decision point abacab. Alternate keys definite and probably Clavitube. Alternatively one of the Hitmakers might be worth a look but I have everything else.
  5. I agree it is confusing and I hope you are correct. Their membership page still shows Zenology Pro only for Pro or higher membership ? https://www.rolandcloud.com/roland-account/memberships
  6. Isn't Zenology Pro just a one month trial for us Core subscribers Vernon? On a positive note, all paid Roland Cloud members get access to Zenbeats Ultimate for free on IOS. I tried it and it worked on my iPad.
  7. Love anything by Nori Ubukata. The demos sound good too ?
  8. I see that all of the Sound Banks are also 50% off. You can access these from within AL4 (click on Store icon top right in AL4) or here https://www.arturia.com/analoglab/sounds I have quite a few already but might pick up some more and also don't forget the free ones if you don't have them already... https://www.arturia.com/products/house_chords/free https://www.arturia.com/products/iconic_vibration/free https://www.arturia.com/products/ambient_soundscapes/free https://www.arturia.com/support/lylissignaturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/hansenshousegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/pasttothefuturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/arielproksasignaturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/starcadianssignaturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/percussivedrive https://www.arturia.com/support/bassmusicpowerpackfree https://www.arturia.com/products/dark_ambient/free https://www.arturia.com/support/m_houlesignature There also seem to be quite a few more paid ones since I last looked. With the paid ones I like how they let you try the first few patches from each bank to give you an idea of the 'flavour'. Maybe the Carpenter Tribute with Halloween just around the corner ? and also The Weeknd Tribute. Any other recommendations?

  11. I just WUP'd a few bits through Koby and he always comes up trumps ? I also got the voucher through from Waves for the value of everything I WUP'ed. So I'm now looking at the latest Waves sale, subtracting 15% (Koby's price) and subtracting the voucher which is making an upgrade to Horizon look very attractive (Mercury would be great but that's still a bit too much!).

    JRR Shop

It's is working at the moment but my order history only goes back to November 2018, same as @Grem. I also keep everything but it is also handy to be able to find a full purchase history in your account.
  16. Cheers Larry! Your "software update" radar is in top form as usual ?
  17. Thanks guys. I actually had Sound Canvas VA set up on the old PC with VSTHost (which looks a lot like savihost) for playing MIDI files outside of DAWs etc. It was a bit archaic in the way it operated though but not bad for free. I'm sure I have also installed LoopBe on my old PC for some other piece of software that required it, can't remember now. I will investigate further, thanks again ?
  18. You must have read my mind John! I was just going to ask whether anyone had tried any of the Coolsoft stuff. What I would ideally like is to make windows 10 use my Sound Canvas VA software as the default MIDI device. Can you do that with their MIDI mapper or do you need VirtualMIDISynth? Thanks John
  19. Hey Mesh, that's pretty much how I use it. It will never replace Band in a box but for quick sketching it's excellent. It's also a lot smaller footprint! Some of the styles are a bit cheesy but there are quite a few good ones also.
  20. Another small tweak (I do like how easy it is to do these in CP) to create the break at the end of the chorus...
  21. Thanks, I like the dark skin and the color gradient! ? I wondered the same and I even started out on that journey, but then realised I have a million and one things I should be doing instead ?
  22. Thanks John, that will certainly save some time.
  23. Hey good effort John! Slow Ballad (under Pop styles) seems to work quite well but I'm still going through them to see if there any better ones (remembering to lock the tempo first). With the Bm in the chorus you can almost get the sequence they do on the song by replacing Bm for the whole bar with quarter notes for Bm - A (C# bass) - D - Em. It really needs eighth notes for the final Em followed by D (F# bass) but I don't think CP will do eighth notes so I have just left out the D (F# bass).
  24. Good reminder in case anyone missed my post ?

    VSTBuzz Freebies

I know this gets posted from time to time but I'm sure there's quite a bit more there than when I last looked so it's always worth checking back there from time to time. https://vstbuzz.com/freebies/ Also, I just bought Dune 3 and went looking for some soundbanks for it only to find a free one by Rob Lee at VSTBuzz. They seem to have some others for Dune 1, Dune 2, SynthMaster, SynthMaster One, U-He Diva, Sylenth, Zebra HZ, Korg MonoPoly and even Omnisphere.
