I think this is new. shows AT 4 sims in the GUI. Shows Mesa and Orange that I use quite often. It would be kjnd of useful to be able to load up presets and FX chains between Tracks with Mixbox and in AT 5.

this whole wacko business practice that these companies operate in is a joke. imagine if potato chips were $20 but 90% off on sale all the time. oh well. i guess this marketing works in this market.

isnt that upgrade price the regular upgrade price? i keep thinking i have seen $49 for new Scalaer 2 and $19 for upgrade from Scalar 1 to 2 in the past?

@Peter - IK Multimedia same here. ^^ I am actually quite happy with the AT GUI, so it would be nice to not switch if IKM now have a product that is on par with other players in the Amp Sim market.

Yes, it would be good if IKM release AT 5 soon so potential customers can decide if they want to buy AT 5. @Peter - IK Multimedia FWIW.. I tried Granophyre. Its okay but defiantly not for clean tones. also a little limited. Only 1 FX.

Hi, did anyone pick this up? Can they confirm, was it a free coupon to upgrade to Vol 3 or was it just the Vol 1?

I still don't know what the deal is with WUP. I haven't bought into Waves. But really like that dbx freebie they gave away. I compared it with a few other dbx compressor VST i have from other collection. The Waves one really does sound total different and warmer.

I will keep looking. Hoping to see if they offer a deal on Total bundle. I am in no hurry.

No surprised by this at all. Up here in Canaki we have two main music instrument store chains. I could tell the days of strolling into the store to try out guitars and stuff and pickup strings was coming to an end long time ago. I have all my main brand of strings in my Amazon watch list and when they go on sale, i click buy. Even at regular price, the Amazon strings are still cheaper than the store prices. It makes no business sense to pay rent and run a music story that caters to only one type of customer in the current reality of the world. I imagine many people that work at music instrument stores probably had zero work hours over last 9 months. I do miss the music store shopping experience. We had Sam the Record man up here. It was a fun way to kill an entire afternoon. You go in there and disappear looking at different music sections and usually pickup something after killing 2 or 3 hours hanging out. I feel back for teens and young people these days. They don't get to experience that anymore.
