I will hold off on upgrading Kontakt and Maschine. I usually do anyways. It seems that it always has some sort of issues at first.

I don't know if it is just me or whether I am the only heavy Guitar Rig user these days. Something really weird got pushed out in the last NI update that happened via their Native Access tool. Something inserted extra Tracktor FX in all my custom user presets in Guitar Rig 5. I have tons of custom presets that I use. It's really strange. I have to keep manually removing them every time I load GR and want to use them.

i dont think so. they are very different products. i think you need to upgrade to R 11 to be able to use the insts in other DAWs

i like their stuff. i have quite a little collection of their stuff but i have yet to find a proper use for it. the GUIs are pretty funky.

it's Goooold!! bling bling.. But seriously... I do like the sound of the demos. Its just hard to distinguish it from some of their other Hip-Hop expansions. There has got to be at least 10 of them in their collection. Queensbridge was a classic. And there is good value in their expansions. I suspect they might have a 50% off sale soon and this might be included.

Big IKM user here. I actually think this is pretty cool idea. Its basically a different GUI interface to the effects that come with their other products. It would be totally usable as I like a lot of their effects. Naturally, the big issue is, if you already own other IKM products, you already have these effects -- so there isn't really anything new here. So it comes down to how much are you willing to spend to get them in this GUI format. Would wait for it to go on a 70% off sale and sure, i'll pick it up. Now if they were to throw this baby into the group buy -- (not gonna happen as its too new) this could stimulate more sales in group buy. Hint hint @Peter - IK Multimedia

what are peoples thought on it? how does it compare to the big ones like Pigments or others? The cool thing is, PB has regular sales on the Imperfect presets.

you think $100 is too much? My guess is they will always hover around $100 just the size will get bigger. By the time it drops to $30 you will want a 10T drive. When was the last time you thought you needed to buy a brand new 80gb drive?

I was going to get the FX collection deal at $199. This would sort of translate to about 4 x $49 per 3 pack more or less. Works out to around $11 per effect. Except that I don't really want, or think I need, to get things like filters or pre-amps but am forced to get it in that deal. I am hoping in 2020/21 Arturia come out with either more varied $49 for 3 pack on delays or what not, or even better, a $99 upgrade price on Black Friday for existing owners of modulations. That would work out to $8 per effect more or less. Maybe a little more swallowable. Wishful thinking but we shall see.
