I never used any of these libraries before but this updated enticed me to launch a few and try them out. I tried Middle East and India yesterday. They are kontakt instruments and I guess have that digital NI sound. Sounds pretty good to my ears but I am not an expert and have no idea how they compare to other similar libraries by other vendors. i guess trends come and go. all sorts of different European music. It does not all have to be Max Martin stuff. I think EDM is what it is. But there is lots of other European music that has lots of emotion and soul IMO. Nordic Death Metal and so on.Great stuff. I don't think all soulful music needs to be linked to black american music. nah... its still on topic. the NI discovery series is sort of something one could use to make more globalized forms of pop music. it good to discuss cross genres.

I feel like globalization and migration in the world is also shaping the development of culture industries such as music on both sides. The seeping in of Asian artists and musicians IMO is progressing much faster than in years past and getting through to a much younger audience. A lot of it has to do with them copying and emulating what was sort of Western modern music and throwing it back at Western culture with their own take on it .In many cases it's a very interesting and intriguing copy of the music and aesthetic that was imported from the west. Bands like Perfume, BabyMetal, are IMO pretty cool ideas. The production on those records is also really really well done. These guys really cool too.

have been interested in this a while. i would get one except for the price point and also the fact that there is no space on my desk. if they were to ever bundle the collection with it.. i might bite. i like Softube FX. i think they are great quality .

I can get the tones I need out of AT 4 and AT 5. But I use the Neural Cory because its different and useful for my needs. It was good purchase as it offers an alternative to AT.

i am a pack rat. i still have my old shit. and everything i did get rid of i regret. i had a amazing banjo when i was in my bela fleck phase. i sold it for peanuts. i had a US tele that i used for years and was amazing instrument. sold it and regret it. everything i sold i want back. even the old LPs I thew in the garbage in the early 00s. ?

those updates went weird on me. i had to reinstall after the update all the updates again. it complained they needed to be cleaned up.

I have been a NI user for a while. I had been using a lot of DAW+Kontact+Battery for a while. Recently went back to using Maschine.. its still damn good. You get a lot of stuff done really fast with it.

thats pretty much how i use the,. just one instance on a drum or master bus. there are guys on GS who claim they use once instance per track. i have no idea how their systems handle it.

to me honest, i have never used it.
