  1. A friend of mine was diagnosed over 20 years ago He's now a lot less mobile than he was but apart from that he's pretty good
  2. One easy monitor test - power them down and listen through phones. Hum still there?
  3. Remove silence should work provided you set a sensible threshold
  4. It sounds like you're talking about Midi events yes? If so, it's possible you've got doubled notes in the pasted sections. Open up the track in Staff View. Any doubled notes will appear obvious
  5. I'd say it has absolutely nothing to do with sample rates and it's really down to the skill of the mix engineer. What sort of instrumentation are you using?
  6. Thanks Steve. I'll have a go with these
  7. Hi Mark I'll give that a go and see what it comes up with To give you a bit of background, I've just had a 2nd SSD fitted so I can boot into either Win7 or Win10 At the moment, there is absolutely nothing on the Win10 system and I want it to mirror the Win7 system but also to take the opportunity to tidy up and not install certain 3rd part plugins that I no longer use, mainly freebies The good thing about it is that all of my huge sample libraries are already on a seaprate HDD which is visible to both systems. There are a few Cakewalk plugins I need from way back so I'm going to have to dig out my original install discs
  8. Hi everyone Does anyone have, or know of, a spreadsheet or other tool which will scan your vst paths for a list of installed plugins, along with their paths, plugin types etc I know a few years ago Bitflipper created one but I no longer have access to the machine it was copied to, and I'm guessing even if i did. it wouldn't run on CbB? Thanks
  9. Bypass all your Fx (hit 'e') Is the latency the same?
  10. Overlapping notes have been known to cause this
  11. I've actually built a schedule in Excel showing what I need to take and when. It was getting too confusing especially when you factor in my other meds (Type II diabetes, high blood pressure, gout & Cholesterol) ?
  12. Just a quick update - I'm in a lot more pain this morning but I guess that's only to be expected I'm on pretty heavy duty painkillers and antibiotics so hopefully they'll start to kick in soon
  13. ????????? Thanks guys - means a lot and no mistake And...... the pizza is now mostly eaten
  14. Yes Andy, quality of life was well on the wane. I was getting secondary pain directly in the testicle due to the increasing size of the hydrocele and putting pressure on everything it touched. This in turn made it virtually impossible to drive, difficult to sleep, walk, even going for a pee was becoming problematic. My thoughts at the end of today was simply that the level of care and attention I received from the staff at the Spire was comparable to that expected from the NHS in days gone by. Sadly this isn't the case anymore and I suspect I know why, but that's for a different thread, not this one.
  15. Cool story bro The consultant tld me a couple of weeks ago about what he was going to do - basically slice the thing open, invert it so he fluid drains out, then stitch it back up again inside out!! Thanks @Kenny Wilson
  16. I had an operation on my scrotum today to removed a rather large (500ml ?) testicular hydroecele - a sac full of fluid that wasn't being absorbed back into my body. Coming round afterwards was wonderful - don't know what drugs I was on but felt all sort of warm & woolly without a care in the world. Just a shame that because it was deemed non life threatening by the NHS, I had to go private. Not a cheap procedure by any means Still, back home now and starting to feel hungry ?????????
  17. For freebies the BT plugs were excellent and I've used most of them in several projects
  18. I never bothered to check out any alternative software and was happy to stick with Platinum forever if need be. Multiple backups protected me somewhat from disaster, it was only the spectre of hardware failure that caused a bit of sphincter flutter ?
  19. Open your Bandlab Assistant and it will tell you there's an update availale
  20. Disables the talenterizer on mine
