Thank you so much for your comments guys - this means a lot to me I have another piece, hopefully ready soon which is an overture and contains snippets of various songs from the album, all segued together into one continuous piece

No, you don't need to install the entire program just to grab the plugins. You can either do an advanced install for what you need or just download them from your Command Centre The only exception to this is if you want V-Vocal which requires a minimum core install. The last version that shipped with VV was X2

How to Locate which clips have FX
Bristol_Jonesey replied to Bassfaceus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Have you got any hidden or archived tracks that might have it on? -
It certainly has that melancholy feel I'm sure you were going for Nicely done John

Here's a piece that's nearly finished. Just got to revise a few articulations This is from a much longer 2CD project which is prog orientated but wit h a couple of orchestral pieces thrown in for good measure This number is meant to invoke a feeling of war Let me know what you think Only instruments used are EWQLSO Platinum, No other Fx at all

By passing instrumental section white voice recording
Bristol_Jonesey replied to Riccoboni's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Well the one thing you cannot do in Cakewalk is to simply "skip" over one section only to resume playback/recording at a later time The only way around this that I can think of would be to use the arranger so that the bits you want to record vocals over are right next to each other and then move them back afterwards -
Cheers Steve

Quick question - are these plugins 32 bit or 64 bit? Thanks

Exactly ?

Wow. Never knew that, after 15 years

Pretty sure you can't do that Best place to audition a note is in the PRV (Piano Roll View)

Which input are you plugging into on the Focusrite? What happens if you go straight into the Focusrite?

new red line along clip for no reason
Bristol_Jonesey replied to RICHARD HUTCHINS's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Ah, which lines are we talking about? At the top or in the body of the clip If it's the clip I agree, clip automation But you do have punch points enabled as well which might interfere with your recordings -

They look like punch in/out points to me -
You can set one up yourself under Keyboard Shortcuts

Is "Cronus" - V Vocal plugin no longer supported ?
Bristol_Jonesey replied to noynekker's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
VV was originally included with Sonar 5 I believe - I certainly used it in S6 If you want to use it you need to do a minimum install of the Sonar .exe It's not a regular plugin like a vst, it's part of the core program -
