  1. Ya. I really liked what Cream 2 did, and wanted a little Coffee to go with my Cream until I saw the price. Even at 99 Euros, that is too much fore me.
  2. They are working on a Windows version. From their FAQ: * Does it support Windows? Not yet, I am working now on our Windows version, please allow us to send you mail when it's ready.
  3. Sounds like a great slogan for constipation medicine. "Joe's Suppositories" anyone?
  4. I agree! The community here is so much more friendly, civilized, laid back, mellow, easy going, less likely to take offence, well you get the picture. I still find it amusing that while this is "discuss.cakewalk.com", 99% of the content I consume here is unrelated to cakewalk in any real way. Well I guess cakewalk can use plugins.
  5. Why would you want to filter out Les Paul? What do you have against him? Or his guitars?
  6. Oh, low pass not long play as in vinyl.
  7. Been there, done that. That is when I discovered the tpkd.sys deletion solution.
  8. I have never had a problem with this. I have installed the complete AIEP3 and the SONiVOX Premier Collection. As long as I remembered to delete tpkd.sys and reinstall the latest iLok, I was okay.
  9. This is actually pretty old news, but a good reminder. The problem was that some Air Music (and SONiVOX) plugins were installing an old version of iLok even if you had a newer version installed. The old version of iLok would install a driver that would render you computer unbootable until you deleted tpkd.sys from c:\Windows\system32\drivers. You could not even use system restore to back out of the install.
  10. I have some of these and they are pretty good. Note that SampleTank 4 can't use them directly, at least not the ones I purchased for $5. They have to be imported into SampleTank 3 first, and then they are available under SampleTank 4 as well.
  11. Cue Dire Straits "I want my ESI".
  12. Can't say I am impressed by the video. It mostly sounds like what you would hear coming out of carnival rides at a fair, or even that annoying ice cream truck that sound pollutes our street every summer. I guess it would work if you were going for that sound. Note that $17 gets you the Cosmic pack of which Arpomaniac is the first member. I suspect that you will also get the rest of the plugins in the Cosmic pack added to your account as they are released.
  13. Just search for Muze, Sonex and Qataz. You will get the whole story. Just for laughs, I decided to download this thing. What's 6 GB right? The interface is a mess. Nothing but the reverb effect works on the main page and that sounds just awful. Something is weird with the mixer, in that you can't really tell what is muted or soloed because when you click on a M or an S, it toggles the letters from white to gray, but white does not necessarily indicate active. In fact, I can't even determine the logic of the mute and solo buttons. And the Delay, Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, and Gainer sliders have no effect that I can hear. This may have been free, but it cost me an hour of my time that I will never get back. I should have followed my first instinct.
  14. Not even sure it is worth downloading. 24.81 GB uncompressed. Just goes to prove that size is not always everything.
  15. Yup. Even on the daichilab website, the latest 64 bit version is dated 11 July 2014. Not even sure how new the daichilab.com website is. The downloads point to the vst4free website, but vst4free is now plugins4free. Not sure when that switch happened.
  16. Likewise. I will probably go with PB. I also have Scaler and Riffer and other midi stuff but this adds to the toolbox. One of the things I like about ChordJam is the chords change octaves as I play up and down the keyboard. I am not sure I am sold on the sequencer though.
  17. Pluginboutique now has this for $39 even. I have some virtual cash and a rewards token I could cash in to shave off a few more pennies. I have downloaded the trial but have not tested it yet. It is tempting.
  18. Not seeing it for $39.95. Seem like it is $47.00 now. Unless there is a coupon other than GROUP or FORUM that exists. Edit: Nevermind. It is $39.95 when I add it to the cart.
  19. Oh yay. Get to deal with the painfully slow filesilo again.
  20. How did you redeem the code they sent you? I cannot find the Redeem a Download Code on the website. I am not on mobile. Edit: Nevermind. Figured it out.
  21. It is fixed now. Apparently there was a major problem with Blogger.com. https://downdetector.ca/status/blogger/
  22. Something weird going on with Samplescience right now. The link I received in my email from them brings up a big red security warning message stating: Deceptive site ahead Attackers on 1.bp.blogspot.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards). The website is all messed up as well.
  23. Just purchased Black Grand MK II. That is one massive download: 36 separate files!
