Fanan team releases Arpomaniac - Rhythmic Synth for Windows
Doug Rintoul replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Can't say I am impressed by the video. It mostly sounds like what you would hear coming out of carnival rides at a fair, or even that annoying ice cream truck that sound pollutes our street every summer. I guess it would work if you were going for that sound. Note that $17 gets you the Cosmic pack of which Arpomaniac is the first member. I suspect that you will also get the rest of the plugins in the Cosmic pack added to your account as they are released.- 1 reply

Just search for Muze, Sonex and Qataz. You will get the whole story. Just for laughs, I decided to download this thing. What's 6 GB right? The interface is a mess. Nothing but the reverb effect works on the main page and that sounds just awful. Something is weird with the mixer, in that you can't really tell what is muted or soloed because when you click on a M or an S, it toggles the letters from white to gray, but white does not necessarily indicate active. In fact, I can't even determine the logic of the mute and solo buttons. And the Delay, Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, and Gainer sliders have no effect that I can hear. This may have been free, but it cost me an hour of my time that I will never get back. I should have followed my first instinct.

Not even sure it is worth downloading. 24.81 GB uncompressed. Just goes to prove that size is not always everything.

Likewise. I will probably go with PB. I also have Scaler and Riffer and other midi stuff but this adds to the toolbox. One of the things I like about ChordJam is the chords change octaves as I play up and down the keyboard. I am not sure I am sold on the sequencer though.

Pluginboutique now has this for $39 even. I have some virtual cash and a rewards token I could cash in to shave off a few more pennies. I have downloaded the trial but have not tested it yet. It is tempting.
-
JRR is still the cheapest.
-
Not seeing it for $39.95. Seem like it is $47.00 now. Unless there is a coupon other than GROUP or FORUM that exists. Edit: Nevermind. It is $39.95 when I add it to the cart.

Oh yay. Get to deal with the painfully slow filesilo again.

Free: Cinemate, Fameboy or Pipe Festival 2

How did you redeem the code they sent you? I cannot find the Redeem a Download Code on the website. I am not on mobile. Edit: Nevermind. Figured it out. -
It is fixed now. Apparently there was a major problem with Blogger.com. https://downdetector.ca/status/blogger/

Something weird going on with Samplescience right now. The link I received in my email from them brings up a big red security warning message stating: Deceptive site ahead Attackers on 1.bp.blogspot.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards). The website is all messed up as well.

Just purchased Black Grand MK II. That is one massive download: 36 separate files!

I agree. But the dropdown for that piano only lists Kontakt 24 bit (full version) as an option.
-
Not sure that the Black works with Kontakt Player anymore. You can only select EXS24, Halion, or Kontakt Full.

APD Offer: 80% Off Scoring Sounds Bundle by Sample Fuel
Doug Rintoul replied to Audio Plugin Deals's topic in Deals
I hate it when there is a bundle like this and I already own one of the products in the bundle (CYCLE-CRE8) and yet it is cheaper to buy the bundle than just the other item in the bundle (Pad Motion is $59 at APD). Guess I shouldn't complain since it is still $100 off the list price of Pad-Motion.- 5 replies

Thanks for this. I thought you might have some insider information. There are other companies that sell the same product through PA and on their own website. Deskew with their GigPerformer3 is one such company. Might Vertigo do the same, or have they really dropped any further collaboration with PA?
-
It is my understanding that the VSM-4 is not an upgrade of the VSM-3. From the release on the Vertigo website: The new VSM-4 plugin is not a successor or update of the VSM-3 Mix Satellite. Sonically it stands for itself but it comes with all the useful features of the VSM-2 Mix Satellite plus some more new functionality for your Mix and Mastering needs of today.
-
I am curious where the news of the PA and Vertigo parting ways was posted. Vertigo is still listed on the PA website as a partner.

Brother, can you spare a dime?

Anyone got a spare $375 they can throw my way?

So many options! I have choice overload. It is like standing in the cereal aisle at the grocery store, trying to decide what to buy when all I have been eating in the past is Corn Flakes.
