Show Clip Outlines in Tungsten and derivatives

Dots are still there if you look closely. Not sure they can be removed but may be tied to a color in T.E. or Preferences. -
MIDI keyboard suddenly no longer works in CW
sjoens replied to winkpain's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
FYI my controller quit responding today for no reason on all but one track. MIDI Meters not even showing action. Closed & opened CbB several times & loaded several different projects. Eventually it started working again for no discernable reason. Tried one other controller with the same results. MIDI interface shows activity. CbB's MIDI monitor shows activity. All issues appear to be inside Windows or CbB. Windows 10; MME EDIT: Happened again after hours of work and found the Uses Instrument column in Preferences > MIDI > Instruments completely empty. Closed & reopened CbB and the list was restored but I had to reassign everything. Maybe a system memory issue?? -
"Same here seems dead accurate. 70 hours of editing! I guess I wander off a lot and leave stuff running." Thanks for checking. Turns out 2 different projects were (apparently) based on the same original project. ? 328:27 hrs TT on this one. Cool it keeps track of time, but, when you base one project off another it's not so telling.

As a "sometimes" SONAR user, my main HANGUP is... (VSTi issue)
sjoens replied to Chris X's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
The old stuff has options the new stuff don't. When they fix the new stuff then they can retire the old stuff. Until then... Don't Mess With The Old Stuff!!! ? -
Why, in the Notes Browser File Stats window, is the Created date always Tue Dec 27 3:44:16 PM 2005, no matter the project? Can it be changed? EDIT: NO!

Insert Soft Synth command (for Custom module and keystroke)
sjoens replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Feedback Loop
For one it's handy for comparing different synths driving existing MIDI tracks. The Replace Synth routine loads an empty synth for which you need to spend time loading an instrument and prevents A/B style comparisons with other synths. -

Now I get it. Been a while since using the file menu underlined letter to navigate with. -

This! I now see why a Custom Mod Button wouldn't work ATM. -
Insert Soft Synth command (for Custom module and keystroke)

Thanks for that. I never knew about Alt+i+y and have never seen it in documentation. Even a google search comes up dry. Where can it be found? -
Insert Soft Synth command (for Custom module and keystroke)
sjoens replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Feedback Loop
True. Where you select how the synth will load. But alas... that window can't open without selecting the synth first. Now it's obvious why there's no keystroke for it, so I'll just.... I was never here! -
Insert Soft Synth command (for Custom module and keystroke)

That only opens the menu list. Clicking the Insert menu is just as fast. There should be a keystroke for the Insert window itself. For some reason it's about the only Insert option without one. All the others can be assigned. Using a 3rd party utility isn't really the answer. -
Edited to remove dumb question.

There's only "one KEY". How many notes do you need?
-
All colors ('cept the one above) are in Preferences > Customization > Colors > Event List. T.E. only has Note Events.
-
Preferences > Customization > Colors > General > Window Text T.E. Global > Window Text It affects several windows.

Or change which state is lit, which I sometimes do. With the FX Bypass that could be confusing, tho.
-
ok. That's the sound. But is it the plugin you were so desperately seeking?!
-
Only my interface was on first. I've started CbB 1st before and never seen this. And I never change it to WDM. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yesterday all was fine. Nothing changed on my system from yesterday to today. Today I booted up and launched CbB to find this: These are WDM. I have always used ASIO. So I uninstalled/reinstalled the driver & checked it in Control Panel: "Device not migrated" I checked online for possible reasons, none of which seemed to apply here. "Last Device Instance Id: Motu..."? Is the MOTU driver somehow messing with the Behringer driver?

@Kevin Perry So you think it's all in my head, huh. Typical @msmcleod Thanks for researching this. I should've checked X1 too. I might have found it sooner but rarely need to drag-copy clips this way.

Checked other projects and also Sonar Platinum. Same issue. FYI: Windows 10 v20H2 build 19042.1348

Except in this theme I needed the TV Disabled Control Text & TV Control Text & Values to be different colors, thus the conundrum. To accommodate I had to lighten the Video background enough to see the text. No biggy for me as I never use the video track.
