May not apply here as the OP didn't say which view he was in, but, I've had Sonar/CbB open with missing fader, pan and other graphics on occasion. Close and reopen usually fixed it.

Particularly frustrating with Pitchbend controllers. With Zero Controllers unchecked: Playing notes will be affected by the last known controller regardless of where Play starts. So if you stop Play in the middle of a series of controllers and move the Now Time Line to start playing somewhere else, the notes will play as if they are still passing thru those controllers. This is why I place -0- controllers everywhere. With Zero Controllers checked: Playing will begin as if there are no controllers until the Now Time Line passes thru a controller. As the term implies it zeros the last known controller so future playing won't be affected by them. With MIDI Event Chace on Play checked: Seems to play as expected with or without Note Events checked.

Actually, original track is the same. You are sending two signals from Track 1 to the Master so it combines them. 1. Track 1 -> Master 2. Track 1 Send -> Bus EQ SFX 3. Bus EQ SFX -> Master To maintain Master output, you need to lower the output of Track 1 or Bus EQ SFX. Edit: ... or the Send, as Los Robis mentioned. ?

Cool. Then Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+X or hold the delete key as it deletes them one-at-a-time.

1. In PRV Menu - deselect Controllers > Select Controllers Along with Notes 2. With Smart Tool right-click & lasso all the notes then copy & paste them into a new track. -or- Right-click & lasso select all the controllers and delete them. Only the Velocity controllers can't be deleted as they are tied to the notes.

All I know at this point... Starship's Track Inspector's Icon is making me hungry.

After selecting a Send in Inspector, clicking anywhere away from the Send area reopens the Send selection dropdown. After selecting the send I have to click the now loaded send 2x to clear focus. I would expect this not to happen.

To me a + & - would make more sense. If we're talking "dropdown" arrow, a window is going to open below the arrow button, so it makes no sense to me for it to point in any other direction. Of note is the Inspector Display button arrow which points down, yes, but the window has nowhere to open but up, in most cases. So I change arrow to point up. Then there's the Browser collapse arrows that sometimes get confused and point up instead of right. No control over that one.

Cool. Doesn't seem to record menu windows though. Just your mouse floating around manipulating invisible menus.

I fix mine to point up & down. Not sure why a view opening arrow would ever point sideways.

Key & time are in the Control Bar Transport. Grab the right side of the Inspector and slide it half way. Go here and peruse the awesome manual.

Forgot about that one. Actually as good or better than the plugins mentioned above but not as good as Melodyne, IMO.

Since Ctrl and Shift do different things, then, yes there is a difference - in this case tho, a very odd difference. Shift = successive selections within a chosen range - in this case, all within the range are selected except the 2nd to last one for some reason Ctrl = random selections - in this case, only 2 selections are permitted for some reason

Sorry. Hard to tell where plugins are from anymore. Pitch.ax is in the Shared folder. I have X1 & up installed. FWIW, I have Stretch.ax & .hlp in the Platinum folder. Guess Melodyne is the current choice.

There's a Cakewalk plugin for that. Right click a track FX bin or clip and Insert Audio FX > Cakewalk > Pitch Shifter.

I've posted on similar behavior. Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it hangs, sometimes it disappears and I have to click the main window for it to re focus. For one, it has to search for and open the themes.

Default track color backgrounds & foregrounds can be set in Theme Editor. When clips are recorded, updated, or bounced, they retain the colors you set. Inspector method of changing clip colors is only a tease as they can't be retained after editing. Once upon a time clip backgrounds were in Preferences but were removed for some reason.

When a window is collapsed vertically: 1. When Synth Rack or Help is at the top and closed with the arrow icons, it cannot be re-opened the same way. You have to use File Menu or key stroke. 2. When main Browser is closed, it can be re-opened by clicking either Media or Plug-in icon but not the Notes icon. 3. Sometimes the top window displays the wrong arrow icons. When entire Browser is collapsed horizontally: 1. When Synth Rack is present it's icons are missing/not used.
