  1. Request option for dark theme. Too much white for my tired eyes. ?
  2. I have a 17" 4K laptop monitor but for CbB I run it at 1920x1080 to match my 2nd wide screen, which to me does more for a DAW than 4K. Aside from resolution there's also text scaling from 100 to 350% which affects the whole screen.
  3. BTW, Performance Module colors are separate from the other modules and can now be changed in Preferences as well as TE... Preferences - Colors - All Colors - Control Bar Performance Module Meters (Normal) & (Warn).
  4. Some SD kits load with the loop button engaged while others don't. If it is, it will need to be disengaged separately.
  5. You can change the size of the Arranger section itself by dragging either end with the mouse. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Arranging.07.html
  6. In Session Drummer, I believe this is because triggering any of those keys activates SD's PLAY button (indicated by an orange box) so that whenever the transport is in PLAY mode, the last selected drum Pattern also plays. Simply hit the OFF button or key to deactivate it. On my 88 key controller it's the lowest G key.
  7. I thought that was the default setting??? When notes are displayed, you can 1) left-click and drag up or down on the frame between the controller and clip panes to increase or decrease note size, or 2) right-click the frame and select Fit Content.

    Missing Midi 'images'

This happens when 1) one take overlaps another, or 2) there's controller data at the end of the clip, or 3) notes were deleted near the end of the clip. I see at least 4 clips on the track in question. Highlight the entire track and Bounce to Clips. If nothing changes, check the Event List.
  9. Photoshop illustration.

  11. Since you inserted SI Bass as a Simple Instrument with no MIDI source, try copying a MIDI clip into the SI Bass track and see if it will play. Then try removing the SI Bass and inserting a new one. This time select MIDI Source and First Synth Audio Output. This will create a separate MIDI and Instrument track.
  12. Oooops. Forgot about the View menu Show/Hide Alt N.... I shut up now.
  13. "The Navigator pane, located just above the Track pane..." Is now located in the Multidock when selected from the View Menu, due to Arranger Track located just above the Track pane. ?
  14. You may also be able to fix the current recording by right-clicking and selecting Convert to Mono. Check your track's INPUT setting to see if it's Left, Right, or Stereo. https://support.focusrite.com/hc/article_attachments/360011730660/Screen_Shot_2020-05-06_at_13.20.37.png

    Bundle File

Obviously, "save" will overwrite existing material. "Save As" allows you to preserve the original project by creating a new one. I always save any new edits as a dated or sequentially numbered file within the same project folder. This is my working folder. When I'm happy with the results (which is almost never) I'll "save as" to a new location where only pertinent audio will be saved. A Bundle file and a Project with Audio folder should be the same physical size because Bundle files don't actually compress anything. They just wrap, or "bundle" all associated files into one big file. Over time they can degrade or become corrupt for some reason. Opening them in a vastly newer version of Sonar or CbB may cause issues as well. Using Per Project Audio folders is the safest way to archive a project IMO. As stated, if you want VSTi audio included in a Bundle file it must be frozen or bounced. Otherwise there is no audio data to include.
  16. You may also be able to: 1). Left-click & hold the Transport RECORD button and select an option. or 2). Right-click the Transport RECORD button to open Preferences.
  17. There are other menus with the same issue. Any and all "lists" should be scrollable.
  18. Funny. I sound just like him when wearing a mask.
  19. Linked Clips Linked clips are indicated by a dotted outline. Any change to one will change all of them. 1. Copy & paste, or click & drag an existing clip from one track into as many other tracks as you need. This automatically links them. or 2. Right-click the Duplicate Track button & check the Link to Original Clips box. Click OK. Then left-click the Duplicate Track button. This sets the default to link tracks when the Duplicate Track button is clicked. or 3. Right-click a track and select Duplicate Track(s). Check the Link to Original Clip(s) box. Click OK. or 4. Click the Tracks menu and do the same. They are now linked (dotted line around each clip) so any changes made to one clip will also be made to the others. Notes: This also works when copy/pasting clips into the same track. Tracks can be unlinked after the fact but not relinked. Duplicate Tracks used to be Clone Tracks.
  20. Oh boy. What did I win, Bob?... er, Colin?
  21. Before and after uninstalling all instances of B-A and installing the latest version, the only way it will open is from the systray (hidden icons). All desktop icons are rendered useless without first quitting it from the systray. ?

  23. Why not both? Wedges fade/appear as the dial moves. Try 'em out here. (Console view.Knobs1.zip)
