I bought Bells to get Trash/Carbon free, came here to post about it, but was beaten to it by our King. ?

We're good. Cheers...

The title refers to the 3 Modulations FX, then there's the FX Collection, then there's the combination of the two, then there are three different prices for the 3 Modulations FX, and two different prices for the combination of the two. Add to that my lack of familiarity with Arturia's products, and I was just checking to see if the "new ones" were in fact the 3 Modulations FX or rather something else they just released. But you knew all that, right?
-
Which "new ones"?

There's nothing wrong with my installation, setup, or technique. Your own links confirm my assessment. Cheers...

The sounds it produces reminds me of my 90's Sound Blaster General MIDI card.

I just discovered in the review below (~1:52) that you can actually mouse-click on the rotating disk in the GUI to add modulation. Cool! -

Several months ago I spent 3 days downloading Total Studio 2 MAX (over a top-tier CDN), manually running dozens of installers, and then spending hours and hours to get Sample Tank to detect all my content. After firing it up in my DAW I noticed that one of the products I own (Syntronik Memory-V) was grayed out. So I went online to download the files but was furious when I saw that my window-of-opportunity had expired and I had to pay to redownload the content. I own numerous plugins from nearly 150 different companies and none of them charge me to download content. So, the icon for Syntronik Memory-V remains grayed-out because I will never give IKM another cent of my money. In fact, I make a point of steering people away from IKM because this type of behavior is not just greedy, it's just plain stupid business practice. The plugin market is fiercely competitive, so why would any company deliberately piss-off their customers? In the end, IKM has lost far more than $10 (which they never even got from me). Hell, rather than a group buy we should run a group sell to get them to change this policy. -

Updating SampleTank to version 4.1.2 causes Cubase to crash. Nice! I had to laugh when I read that "General Reliability Improvements" was one of the items in the Release Notes. Just what I need, more DAW pain... It's a nice trade-off: my software is completely up-to-date, and it's completely unusable. And SampleTank 4 is no longer listed in My Products. So now I can't even fix this problem. What a joke! -

The installers prompt you for these locations (both VST and VST3). -

Peter, Would you please ask your developers to just show the products we actually own when we click on "Manage My Products"? Currently it mixes what you own with stuff you don't own. And it would be nice to be able to hide the scrolling product banner at the top of the Product Manager. Cheers... -

I just succesfully updated AmpliTube, Modo Bass, SampleTank and T-Racks. I wish I had this a few months ago when I was installing StudioMax. I like that I was able to choose the path where the installers were downloaded. I set it to my USB docking station which is where I archive my studio software. This saved me the time of moving the files from my laptop to that drive. -

Wave Destroyer is an audio distortion plugin capable of a massive range of tones. The distortion character is endlessly tweak-able thanks to a unique compliment of controls as well as independent pre and post EQ sections. It can be used subtly as a saturator and exciter or it can be a tool of ultimate sonic destruction. Overdrive, distortion, fuzz, glitchy broken tones, and anything else you can dream up; its all possible with Wave Destroyer. https://www.gmhaudio.com/wave-destroyer

PreFET is a Machine-Learning based transistor pre-amp emulation which was designed using the same concept as PreTube. The included artificial neural network has learnt to precisely imitate the transistor pre-amp stage of a 70s tabletop cassette recorder. Depending on the Drive-Setting PreFET can colour your sounds from subtle analogue saturation to heavy overdrive. https://www.accentize.com/PreFET

It's not bad; but IMO it lacks 'character' compared to Kramer Master Tape, J37, Saturn, iZotope Exciter, etc.

Thank you trager and simon ... enabling the Legacy VST Support option fixed the problem. ?

After running their installer, all of my previous .dll-files were deleted and replaced with just: Black Rooster Audio.dll. Okay, no problem if that's how they're doing it now. But! Now none of my previous plugins are detected in Cubase, including Magnetite. Nice! So what they're saying is: No plugins for you! Come back one year.

I think just a subset judging from the announcement video.
-
Presonus seems to have closed the feature-gap between Cubase and S1 enough so that I can finally ditch Cubase. Fingers crossed...

Just listened to the KNIF Knifonium Tube Synth playthrough and was very underwhelmed. It sounds like just another generic synth rather than something with unique character like DS Thorn or Lion (both of which I love and use often).

Very nice freebie! Lots of vintage vibe.
