I don't doubt its quality or utility. I really like, and frequently use all the UVI VIs and FXs that I own. I just don't need the SonicBundle now given that I'm still going through the two Arturia bundles I bought last year (while they were deeply discounted). Prior to the release of the SonicBundle I was buying VIs/FXs that I wanted when they went on sale. But, as I mentioned above, I'm now going to stop that practice and just buy the entire SonicBundle (maybe in a few years).

I stopped buying individual UVI products since they introduced SonicBundle for the same reason I never buy NI plugins outside the upgrade cycle. I plan on buying SonicBundle one day and don't want to pay twice for any plugins. I realize that buying individual ones may lower my SonicBundle price, but it's not a 1:1 reduction, so I'll just wait. I wonder if UVI considered this when they introduced SonicBundle.

Version 16 now leaves a 153MB process (WavesPluginServer) in RAM after closing your DAW. And that's in addition to the 47MB WavesLocalServer from earlier versions. That's 200MB of wasted memory! Although these are easily terminated via the TaskMgr, why should I have to do it myself?

I just spent some time with the demo and, although there are a few decent patches, nothing really grabbed me. So, I'm going to put this on my 'consider again later' list.

I think you're both correct. For completely new installs it does the '.iso thing'. I just saw an Explorer window open with an .iso file in it for Kithara (which is a new install for me). But for previously installed VI updates, it's definitely doing the 'data injection' thing. When that happens the progress bar makes several large jumps, presumably reflecting the downloading and installing of just new code. BTW, when I checked the Windows 11 App History I noticed that most of the download size was attributed to the aria2c download utility.

Thanks. I powered-down my cable modem and wireless router to force an ISP software update and tried again, but still have the have issue.

Is anyone else having problems downloading the larger file-size instruments (>30GB) via Native Access? The ones smaller than that download fairly quickly, but the larger ones start at a good rate and then stall at 20-25%. I've tried starting over a few times but the same thing happens everytime. I realize that the servers are being hit hard now, but that doesn't explain why the smaller ones download okay. It's almost as if the servers are getting bored and forget about the download.

If you ask before you download anything maybe they'll allow it. It sounds like an honest mistake to me.

The upgrade price of $249.50 for KUCE15 at Plugin Boutique is good when you consider that it comes with 4.99 of Tokens and $12.45 of Virtual Cash effectively reducing the price to $232.06 (after converting Tokens to Virtual Cash). Does anyone know of a better deal?

Wow! This is a phenomenal freebie. I assumed it was a Little version (like Little Plate), but it appears to be the 'full' plugin.

I like the sound of it as well. I wonder if we can get it through a Custom Collection. Several years ago I used to get these for ~$60 from Plugin Discounts during their Black Friday sales.

I suspect that XLN provided the 2.5 update with the intention of releasing new kits, so I would guess yes.

Given how much free stuff they've given out over the years, and the generous prices to get V Collection X and FX Collection 5 ($99 and $69 respectively), I guess they now need some cash to support their operation. This seems reasonable to me given how often (and well!) they update their stuff. The total I spent prior to getting V Collection X and FX Collection 5 (at the prices shown above) was $69 (for Pigments) and $39 (for Analog Lab). That's it. So for just $276 I got virtually everything in their VI and FX bundles. Not too shabby...

It's becoming increasingly difficult to imagine what else they can add to this Collection given how good and complete it is already.
