Wow! This is a phenomenal freebie. I assumed it was a Little version (like Little Plate), but it appears to be the 'full' plugin.

I like the sound of it as well. I wonder if we can get it through a Custom Collection. Several years ago I used to get these for ~$60 from Plugin Discounts during their Black Friday sales.

I suspect that XLN provided the 2.5 update with the intention of releasing new kits, so I would guess yes.

I'm not going to get the upgrade either, and for the same reason; I'm still exploring V Collection X and FX Collection 5. I was just showing a little love to one of my (new) favorite companies. Cheers...

Given how much free stuff they've given out over the years, and the generous prices to get V Collection X and FX Collection 5 ($99 and $69 respectively), I guess they now need some cash to support their operation. This seems reasonable to me given how often (and well!) they update their stuff. The total I spent prior to getting V Collection X and FX Collection 5 (at the prices shown above) was $69 (for Pigments) and $39 (for Analog Lab). That's it. So for just $276 I got virtually everything in their VI and FX bundles. Not too shabby...

It's becoming increasingly difficult to imagine what else they can add to this Collection given how good and complete it is already.

Thanks @Chaps and @TheSteven. My problem was that I thought this was a plugin, but it's actually just a standalone app. It's now activated and running.

How do we actually download this one? In the past after purchasing a plugin it's added to my account and shows up in the PA Installation Manager. But this one does not show up there and it's not clear how to add it to my licenses. EDIT: I went ahead and downloaded and installed the plugin, but nothing was actually installed. I've never had an issue installing a PA plugin before. Strange.

I was wondering the same thing, so I headed over to UAD's website, but they also only show one plugin. Maybe there were different versions like with the 1176?

I gave it a shot, but they said: "No deal for you! Come back one year."

I've never used the app, I access it via my browser. The site is free, but you generally have to pay for the content. They frequently run sales.

Just curious, has anyone ever obtained a better mix by using an AI product compare to doing it yourself? I'm asking because I still produce better-sounding mixes by manually applying my plugins.

I would say it's good. I've used it on a few songs. The patches are 'edgy' and 'gritty'. I think I got it for free a while back.

Hmm, for me Sine crashed a lot on Windows 10, so I uninstalled it. I've haven't tried it on my new Windows 11 systems, so maybe it would run better on that. Then again, I found Sine to be counterintuitive and frustrating to use, so probably not.

Thanks for posting. I looked at 80, Slower, and Electro, but don't see myself using any of them, so I'm going to wait and see what my upgrade price for KUCE 15 will be during the Summer Sale . Cheers...

I'm still on the fence regarding this or the upgrade to NI KUCE 15. I guess it depends on what NI will charge us this year. Hopefully we'll get that price before April 14th.

Right! The reason I'm surprised about this one is that it's a 'pro' product without an obvious 'hook' that starts folks off with a 'lite' version so that they'll pay to upgrade to the 'pro' version. Maybe this is just a "Hey pay some attention to us!" in the ridiculously crowded world of music software.

I just checked there and it seems that they only offer the full $799 version. Oh well...

I've never owned Falcon. Would you consider it to be UVI's 'Kontakt'?
