I haven't been paying proper attention and have sort of missed the information on Melodyne 5, so I have admonished myself!! Can someone outline what is so good about melodyne V5 - I have the Studio version, but I really don't use it that much , so just considering would it be worth the money - and this is not cheap for an upgrade, well unless there are loads of new wonderful features. I upgraded from my very old version 1 - wow what a difference and whilst I have only played with it for a short time today, there really are some great sounds in there - and what a nice surprise there was for me - my old Ensoniq VFX went wrong (hardware) and I had to take it to the UK for repair - where of course it still is as I am still stuck in Cape Town. But now I have a very good replacement as there is a nice Ensoniq VFX included with this - bonus as they say!! Nigel

Love the Valhalla Delay. I Have that and use it a lot - must say I was impressed with the Echo Cat, will have to look at that more closely. But the Wires thing - I actually looked at the demos when that came out and it seems to me to have an unpleasant distortion to it all the time - perhaps that's good for some music, but not for what I do - anyone actually got Wires?? If yes, am I hearing what I think I am hearing on the demos!! Nigel;

I'd never heard of this guy - just checked out some of the preset packages - especially the ones for SoundToys - they are superb - also as I was a first time purchaser, I got an extra 15% off - these are well worth a look Nigel
