  1. Hi Jesse - thanks for the great comments - no, the singer is not me!!!! - I don't think I would inflict my singing on my worst enemy!! Gina is our singer - I do the music, she does the vocals - perfect! Thanks again Nigel
  2. Hi Freddy - thanks for the very kind comments - I do really appreciate them - Politicians, yes never trust a single one of them - but this Covid thing, certainly here in Africa, the experts have been wildly wrong nearly all the time, which has been very disconcerting - you don't know who to listen to these days!! Keep well Nigel
  3. Hi Bjorn - thanks for the comments re the video - really appreciated Cheers Nigel
  4. Hi Mark - a question - I noticed your comments re SSD5 - i have SSD4 and used to use it many years ago, but i never liked the routing - did they change it in SSD5?? I never did upgrade - in fact I sort of put Slate software on my blacklist! All the broken promises re the content for SSD4 was extremely disappointing to say the least - in fact I have quite a lot of "old" slate stuff that is now not even installed - the limiter, the channel emulations etc shame Anyway I digress - what I meant to ask is did they sort all the issues with SSD5 Thanks Nigel
  5. Zo - same here when I purchased the SDX - over time i had built up a number of points - i think you have to register first, but then each purchase you make from them, you get some points, which you can use against new purchases Nigel
  6. Well I haven't purchased much lately, so i splashed out and got the Legacy of Rock SDX - got it from Time and Space in the UK as I had a few points saved up, no vat, so I paid around $120 which I thought wasn't too bad. It sounds spectacular - I am just writing some new stuff at the moment, so I went into a couple of tracks and replaced what I usually use, the Progressive Foundry library and the difference was, well Spectacular!!!! It really sounds so live This one is going to get a lot of use, especially on the more "rock" type tracks Nigel
  7. I just downloaded the free version and gave it a try - it was just on some audio, so not stressing anything CPU wise, but I have to say it sounds excellent - shall definitely use this Nigel
  8. Hi Sabby Wow thanks, really appreciate the great comments Cheers Nigel

  16. Hi Wookie Well our lockdown has been one of, if not the most severe in the World -for instance although we have hardly any Covid stuff still happening (not that we REALLY had that much in the first place), still no International flights and we still have stupid stuff such as curfews!! So far in the 8 months of "Covid" time, we have had an absolute maximum of around two thousand deaths a month - in any normal year we have around 1500 murders a month, 5500 TB deaths a month and believe me, they are not even the biggest "killers" in South Africa (AIDS, Diabetes, Cancer etc) - but we never do lockdowns for any of them!! Now of course the economy, which was already in problems, has been totally trashed - unemployment is already up to 50%!!!!!! Poverty and hunger will kill way more people than the alleged 2000 Covid deaths a month for MANY years to come - OK off the old soap box now??? Not having a go at anyone, well bar the stupid Politicians and the "experts", who don't seem very expert in anything to me!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to have a watch and glad you liked it Cheers Nigel
  17. A really nice calming instrumental - definitely a bit of the old celticness in there!! Cool Nigel

  19. Freddy right in my wheelhouse, love this. Great bluesy guitar By the way, it's best not to watch too much news - most of it is biased or just down right false?? Keep up the great work Nigel

  24. Here in Cape Town we STILL have lock down – unbelievable really, but that’s Africa for you. At least the weather improved so we could finish the last video off our 2017 album, On Top of The World. This track is called Steal the Light from the Trees – we enjoyed getting the video somewhere near what we imagined when we were planning this video!!!! Hope you enjoy Cheers Nigel
