  1. Hi Fossile Tried to have a listen - it does sound interesting, but i had problems playing it - it kept cutting out - very likely a problem my end - here in Africa things like internet can be a little hit and miss at times! Cheers Nigel
  2. Wookie - cool track - loved the lead and Drums!! Great job Nigel

Cool track my friend - liked it a lot - i think the fade out at the end needs to be more gradual - does sound a little abrupt - that's it, and love the Cello! Nigel

Gary - thanks for that - hope you enjoy the video Nigel
  10. Good song - I actually like the vocal but agree the lead needs to be up a bit on the Chorus - I think with the backing vocals you already have that could sound really good - i know you have no percussion on this but I do think something, even maybe a shaker / tambourine might be cool Thanks for posting Nigel
  11. Brought a little "sunshine" to a very grey and dreary day here in lock down Cape Town - thanks for that Cool stuff Nigel
  12. Douglas - nice track - agree perhaps a little long and a bit muddy in low mids?? Apart from that, cool stuff Nigel
  13. Nice one Freddy but do agree about the delay being too much in places Cool stuff Nigel
  14. Upped my buffer size and it started to work - been playing with it for a while and all seems OK - however I tried it on a couple of dry drums loops against some of my preferred Reverbs (Aether / Valhalla room and vintage) and well it was OK but not better - in fact (I expect because I am very familiar with it and know how to get what I'm after out of it) I preferred both Aether and Vintage Verb on those particular drum loops But definitely worth a try I think Nigel
  15. Thanks - I'll try increasing my buffer settings and give it another go cheers nigel
  16. Hi - I downloaded the trial but unfortunately both Vst2 and 3 versions crash my PC - I'm on Windows 10 Anyone else had any issues? Nigel
  17. Anyone tried this? I'm going to download the trial when I can but might be a few days Nigel

Hi Everyone Into our fifth month of Hard lock down in South Africa thanks to our incompetent Government - anyway I suppose we've had plenty of time to play doing videos! This track, Touch, is again from the album we released in 2017, On Top of the World Hope you enjoy it Nigel
  19. Very nice, like this - great guitar Cool, thanks for posting Nigel
  20. Jon Agree with Tom re the Bass - I would start there and get it sounding better - then balance with the drums. Definitely some panning and EQ needed and the with the vocals, again agree with Tom When I am doing a track - I always start with getting a solid bass drum foundation, then add synths guitars and vocals, so they all sit in the mix and have clarity. Hope this helps a bit Nigel
  21. Thanks so much for that - appreciate the very kind comments Thanks PJH - glad you liked it Cheers Nigel
  22. Hi Makke - thanks really appreciate that - thanks for taking the time to have a listen Cheers Nigel
  23. Hi Leadfoot - thanks, really appreciate the kind comments Nigel Hi Starise The song is actually about some characters from one of my favorite books, The Gormenghast Trilogy. Its a brilliant read if you ever get the chance to grab it Cheers Nigel Cheers Daryl, thanks so much, always appreciate you taking the time to have a watch and a listen Nigel
  24. Oh I like this - haunting. I can just imagine myself sitting on the misty marshes listening to this! Very nice job indeed. I can hear the high register stuff around 2.35 that tom mentions, but on the monitors i was listening to it on, i cant say it really bothered me too much, although i could see this being more intrusive on different/better set ups than mine. Cheers Nigel
  25. Hi Steve Thanks for those great comments, appreciated - we have been working hard trying to make our videos better/more interesting - these days it's so important...unfortunately no one really seems to just listen to music much anymore!! Cheers Nigel
