There aren't many folks here who use Bandlab. This is mainly a forum for the DAW Cakewalk By Bandlab (CbB). But, if you can let us know what your export options are or provide a pic of that screen, maybe someone will come up with something that helps.

This is my room mate's grandson's band Inanimus. I recorded it in January using the aforementioned Samsung video camera. About 10 minutes. I think it's 2 songs, but it's hard to tell. And I'm sure you both have phones? Set them both up from different angles then use a video editor to stitch them together. A few years ago I bought a Samsung HD video camera for $89 at WalMart*. It works great! It's about the size of a cell phone. It came with the editing software so al I have to do is plug it into the computer and edit.

Thanks. I realize I'm about 15 years behind, but I got it from the SHS 6 Help: MIDI Effects (MIDI Plug-ins) SONAR provides the ability to use plug-in MIDI effects. Using plug-in effects is similar to using the MIDI processing commands off-line. The overall procedure is as follows: ⦁ Select the MIDI data to be affected. ⦁ Choose the effect you want from the Process-MIDI Effects menu or from the popup menu's MIDI Effects menu. ⦁ Set effect parameters (or select a preset if you've made one for this purpose). ⦁ Click Audition to preview the music with the effect applied. ⦁ Click OK to apply the effect to the selected MIDI data. If you're not happy with the result, choose Edit-Undo before doing any additional work. MIDI effects can be applied to whole or partial clips. For example, you can apply an echo to just one note. MIDI effects can also be applied to MIDI tracks in real time (during playback) in the Track and Console views. Unlike any of the processing described so far, using effects in real time is non-destructive. This means that the MIDI data itself is not modified. Note: Offline effects may cause your MIDI events to grow in size. For example, when you apply echo, the clip may need to grow to accommodate the tail end of the echo. Well, I may have misled you. In SONAR, it was under Options>Audio but I can't find that in Cakewalk by Bandlab's Preferences. They may call it something else?

If you have 'Play Effects Tails On Stop" enabled, that will cause a clip to lengthen when bounced or exported.

Well, if you're using ASIO4All, don't. Focusrite has their own driver for the Scarlett, so use that, unless you previously had problems with it. Uninstall ASIO4All first.

You can set the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth as your MIDI output, depending on what Driver Mode you're using.

I think they must have recovered that from the Titanic.

Welcome to the forum Press P on your computer keyboard and let us know what you have listed for Record and Playback Timing Masters. Go to Insert at the top and choose Soft Synth and TTS-1. In the next dialog make sure Create MIDI Source Track and First Audio Output are selected. In the MIDI track that is created make sure the input is set to your controller and the output to the TTS-1 soft synth. The TTS-1 soft synth's output should be set to whatever the Preferences dialog showed as your Playback Timing Master. Or a bus which should be set to that output. In the MIDI track, select a channel and Patch (instrument sound). It might be a good idea to turn down the volume of the TTS-1 soft synth track to keep from clipping. Some of the patches can be pretty loud. Play something on your controller. Can you hear anything? Are the meters moving? Good luck!

Some plug-ins designed for mastering have inherently high latency and shouldn't be used while recording. Which plug-in is it?

I have never in any iteration of my Cakewalk software seen a template where all of the tracks are already armed for recording. You must have set it that way at some point and saved that project or template. So, open the template in question, disarm all of the tracks and save it again.
