  1. Thank Andy - Yes it was a chord progression for the verses that I don't use much, maybe that and the timing...there's an extra beat or two in there somewhere.
  2. Originally I had @kiwichrys sing on this one (from Bandlab) - she did a great job, but I want to release this on my third album, so I redid with my vocals. I also updated several tracks and the whole overall mix and master. https://baselines.com/?p=7176
  3. Great drum beat. I like the panning and the vocal fits in nice. Cool tune!
  4. I like that quirky beat! Good subject matter for the lyrics. Very unique which in this world is very necessary.
  5. Thank you! I try hard on the vocals, but it isn't something that I was born to do - always nice to hear that they are at least OK 😄
  6. Hi Nigel - thank you - yeah it probably is - I'm really losing the high frequencies in my hearing - I have to guess some now.
  7. Wow - this is an older post, I think I missed it! Eleven albums, wow what a milestone. The song sounds great (you always do, your mix/master talents are really pro. And the video is also very professional. Great work.
  8. I like it Andy - I don't think you need to change the singing - it works. Song matches the lyrics!
  9. Nice relaxing song - the effect on that hi-hat (I think that is what it was) is cool, half verb a little delay maybe? It works.

Cool tune - I like the way the notes bend around, was that a tuning wheel (whatever they are called) - an interesting beat keeps it moving.
  11. HI Bjorn - The video really drives home the point! I like what you did with the end. I like the drum sound a lot. A friend of mine with very poor eyesight used to get a lot of screaming migraines. He was a really smart guy and read tons of books. The doctor finally helped him by changing his diet - I don't think he went for the drug route, but Excedrin used to help him. He doesn't really have the problem anymore - I wonder if age is a factor in the reduction.
  12. Nice groove Kevin - vocal track sounds really good.
  13. Sounds really good. Maybe boost the drums a little or do some EQ tweaking on them, but that is nit-picking. Steve
  14. Hi Jerry - thank you for your comments. I did use an old Buster Keaton video for a Steely Dan cover I did. That was a lot of fun. https://baselines.com/?p=6373 Steve
  15. Hi Kevin - thank you for your comments. I was really happy to come across those video clips. I thought that they worked well with the song. Steve
  16. A day late, but I had to get it right. A video was added to the link below. https://baselines.com/?p=7156 Also on youtube direct link:
  17. Thanks Andy! Yeah It's done now. What's done is done and that will have to be how it stands. Steve
  18. Absolutely. You know its a concern when you think 'what will my wife think of this? Has he got a 17 year old on the side?' Oh well. I think it sounds good and it's just going to have to stay like it is. Thank you for stopping by! Steve
