Thanks for listening Nigel!

Thanks Bjorn - it was an old reach back to Dimension Pro for that flute sound.

Hi! Thanks. Yeah - I'm not that steady on guitar for this type of thing so I had a little help with a matching synth. Thanks for the feedback.

Good work Larry - sounds great on my earbuds.

HI Nigel - sounds great. I like the drum sound a lot. Listening on my new Denon Perl Pro earbuds.
-
Nice vocal!
-
Very tight. Enjoyable listen.
-
Love the full flavored chords. Sounds really smooth.
-
Nice - the vocal sits just right.
-
Nice peaceful feeling with a little underlying tension. Good work Bjorn!
-
Really cool - remind me a little of 10cc. Love the drum sound. What do you use for that?

I forgot about this song till recently - I really liked it when it was out, but then I like most Paul Simon songs. He has an emotive voice and I hope I captured some of that feeling. https://baselines.com/?p=7274

Thanks Ross I appreciate the feedback. Steve

Hi Nigel - Thanks for listening. The only album of theirs that I played over and over was Trilogy. I've tried for ages to play the song Trilogy on piano - I get close but always manage to screw it up when trying to play through it. Keith Emerson was really talented, but like you, I thought most stuff was just too far out there for me. Steve

Thanks Mark!

I had to go look up fagioletto! I think it's the exact same harmonic chord for both songs on the twelfth fret. Thanks for listening! Steve

You're right I got lazy with the high frequency hiss (added I think by TH-U). Thanks for listening and your useful comments!

Hello all - been a while since I've been back. Time to catch up again! This is a cover from one of my favorite old albums, Trilogy by ELP - this one had some success on the charts. https://baselines.com/?p=7262

Recorded in 1979! Thanks for listening.

This was the song that got the most airplay for Private Lightning. The first song on the album. https://baselines.com/?p=7246 Physical Speed

Another one from the Private Lightning album. I was surprised on this one - after 40 years, I finally noticed that they had upped the speed on this on - It is in A flat, but really in G. I should have noticed becausew the song before it on the album is in G to and this is a noticable lift from that. Using the AI image generator that is built into Wordpress - it was also a surprise to me. https://baselines.com/?p=7242
