iZotope Everything Bundle Upgrade from prior Everything Bundle
kitekrazy1 replied to cclarry's topic in Deals
This is not an Izotope everything bundle but a mixture of plugins from the 3 headed monster. It's an easy pass. Licensing is not consistent either. When they got those Expo verbs the licensing is different.. You can install Izotope on every machine you have while those verbs require iLok and I think they are single seat. -
I get the dumping of Syntronik. I never cared for any Sampletron library for other romplers but IK version is so far above the rest. I guess the nest frontier for ST is encourage users to create their own stuff and lessons how to. Then again maybe they realize the rompler thing is a saturated market and not spend resources on it. or do Modo stuff which is more modeling. I love the Modo Bass. It doesn't dent a drive either

it's not like it will be a missed opportunity - they come back

That's why I prefer the option account direct downloads instead of an app. I'm only allowed 1.5tb a month without getting charged extra, Downloading EW HO triggered my ISP of reaching a limit. That also happened a few years ago with TS Max by downloading on 3 systems instead of downloading from my account.

What are the options for 30+ year users?
kitekrazy1 replied to Tim Godfrey's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I have hopes after they test the waters they offer a non sub option. Acronis tried this but now they also offer non sub. Most sub prices on anything I rarely agree with and they do go up. I find it annoying people justify a price comparing it to food items on just about everything. Most of those are "luxury" items and I can do without. I can also do without certain DAWs since I seem to collect those like plugins. I stopped using Sonar heavily after 4 but still bought licenses because of their licensing. If that happens again I will buy the newest Sonar. -
Spitfire Save 45% on the Bernard Herrmann Composer Toolkit
kitekrazy1 replied to cclarry's topic in Deals
I think users are overwhelmed with choices. These sales never make sense but how many of them do these days. I'm happy that they haven't ditched Kontakt all together. -
I wasn't impressed as much with the latest Komplete Ultimate. Some of it was loops put in Kontakt. The best part was upgrading to Kontakt 8 since I couldn't stand 7. I don't think I've ever really dived into Komplete other than the installation. It's that habit of always using 3rd party.

Code worked as now I bought Atheria

Do it. I;m thinking of making a thread about the Epic Bundle. I just unzipped the Epic Dohl and watched the video. Maybe I will take all of these libraries and create one project.
-
No but it more of a development type tool. It comes with Live's Suite
-
The percussion...........that was my reasoning
-
No hoarder could answer that question. To answer that would be the one I don't have and most like is the Aetheria Choir. My favorite libraries are always the ones I don't have.
-
Falcon is more of a synth, Musio is more for orchestra
-
Well, well, I caved in on the epic bundle more for the percussion and missing a choir

https://8dio.com/products/adagietto-vst-au-aax-kontakt-instruments-samples?variant=41309921280200 I like these less bloated string libraries. One of the reasons for these sales is to get you to crossgrade to Soundpaint.

Hint of what's Coming this Fall from Izotope Easy answer - for the end user this thing called confusion
-
I had the 8W version and went back to Majestica. The only real difference was the bitrate
-
that's a lot of bloat dedicated to bombastic stuff. I have most of it. If you didn't need percussion the All Century Bundle would be better, It think when people want to dabble in orchestra sounds they often buy too much. That bundle is best for sample hoarding. The other plus is it is for full Kontakt. I still don't like Spitfire's player or Sine. The Musio offering is great. It depends on what version of Komplete you have. There's plenty of orchestra there. I did but the Soundpaint version of Majestica yesterday. Now I ask myself why.

Godfather III is the worst movie I've seen

there will eventually be 5 more out there that will top it. It's like when you thought you worked for the worst boss you will probably come across 5 more in your lifetime -
Spitfire Introducing Abbey Road Orchestra: Symphonic Woodwinds
kitekrazy1 replied to cclarry's topic in Deals
That price would almost be worth if it were for Kontakt -
it works now

anyone try downloading from their account? It seems like their servers go to a crawl with new updates using the app.

Same here.
