The APD site says Download Instantly, but I found there are a lot of things to jump over, around, and through. I guess If someone uses TONEX frequently, it's a snap, but I played with TONEX CS a while ago, the UI has changed quite a bit, etc. Eventually I got access to the Collection and found the switch that let me list just the models/presets I own. I don't remember all the steps, but they include: Open the e-mail and buffer copy the purchase code from APD Open the IK Product Manager Use the Register Button in the IK Product Manager Paste the code into the right spot Boot TONEX Make sure you are logged into the TONEX Server (or whatever they call it) Go to the User Area on the IK Website Make sure Tonex is listed [in the IK Product Manager] Make sure the Collection is listed [in the IK Product Manager] It should be if Registration was successful In the TONEX UI, find the switch that will let you list models you own or possibly search for Metal Gems Somewhere along the way I was able to listen to audio through the Metal Gem models (played real time through a CbB track) without the unwanted periodic noise we get with unowned models. Also, along the way I had several periods of just waiting--maybe while stuff was being downloaded, while my account was being verified, etc.

After reverting MODO BASS 2 (to Version 2.0.2 from Version 2.0.3), back (to Version 2.0.3), and then checking some things, I found: Version 2.0.3 uses a different folder/file arrangement CbB did not automatically detect the change Might be a problem for some people, not others depending on personal VSTScan choices/options I do manual scans as needed Doing a Rescan with "Rescan Failed Plugins" selected allowed CbB to (appropriately enough) rescan and find Version 2.0.3.

I used to be much more of a perfectionist on documentation (I got it along with some so-called "advanced degrees"), but now it doesn't bother me that some standards/conventions are not enumerated. Still, I can understand the point. Towards that end, if anyone is compiling a list, F11 is also unassigned in the Shortcuts/Key Binding Tool and as many know Windows uses F11 to switch the display to "Full Screen" mode for which Cakewalk/Sonar also provides a button (next to the Workspaces dropdown field) for mouse clickers and people who have F11 assigned to something else.

It's nice that there are alternatives for those looking to download the Comeback Kid. As I wrote, I have had it for about a year and like it.

Same issues here requesting the free downloads from baby audio. It's been almost six 24 hours--no e-mail received in any mail folder. Maybe they are having server issues or customer service issues. Note: I've had the Comeback Kid since a year ago (free from Plugin Boutique). I like it so I thought I'd try their other freebies. Other that that I have no experience with the company, but assume they are legit and just might be temporarily overwhelmed.

I know there have been recent discussions but old age and weather conditions prevent me from finding them. So this is from memory: The last time I checked Bandlab Assistant was no longer used/needed because of the functions available through CbB's Menu Bar > Help items. Over the past several months whenever I got the red Activation-about-to-expire message, I used the built-in menu bar and that worked. Sometimes I needed to log out of Bandlab and then use the Help item that links to the Bandlab login page (not Bandlab Assistant). But in my experience, I didn't need to activate every day, usually once a month at most and perhaps when there is an update. UPDATE: I found a current link (help center, not discussion from users) which might help. Thanks for the reply. I stand corrected. For me the Full Bundle doesn't have a discounted %, and nor does the Odd Meters MIDI Pack, but on my PC, it looks like everything else has a discounted percentage. (I just triple checked; everything except those two are showing a discount % off of what I assume is List Price. Maybe I am seeing a webpage from yesterday that's in my PC's Cache. If you don't mind looking up two things: What prices do you see for USYNTH Caramel and USYNTH New Titles Bundle? For Caramel, I see $79.99 (-76%) $19 and for the New Titles Bundle, I see $237.99 (-79%) $49. But that might be in my browser's Cache from yesterday. Thanks.

Any idea what they mean by "current promotions?" It looks like all of the products are already on sale. So if there is one that has been on sale for $29 (62% off $79.99), is the 44% off the $29 price or the $79.99 price?

Between you and me, I think it's intended to be a promotion to build customer lists (Waves and KVR) by giving away licenses to many people, but in posting the "Giveaway" rules, someone messed up. Or maybe they intended to mess up. Seriously, maybe there will be one winner who will be selected at random to get an Everything Bundle from Waves and everyone else who enters gets a MetaFilter license (as long as they don't try to game the system with multiple entries. Hmmmmmmm. Either way, congratulations!

This confused me at first, too. I just re-read it and it still strikes me as ambiguous. Maybe they have an unstated limit of licenses to give away. Note (above): singular - winner. Note (above): plural - winners. I hope you didn't say you understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions. As written I don't see how anyone can answer that honestly. ?
