On Page 837, the manual says... However, when I try to attempt to do this, I see the "wrong way" icon whenever I drag the FX Chain Preset and the cursor is over the FX bin.

So how is it? -
Pay $199, get NADA? Probably not the best sales pitch.

Crystal is pretty old but still a classic. https://www.greenoak.com/crystal/dnld2.html Komplete Start has a nice selection https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-start/included-products/

I don't have that kind of time anymore. Plus, the bugs they are fixing are usually not the ones I have.
-
Which ones? S-Gear is the only vst3 causing me problems.
-
I have. They haven't responded yet, but it seems they have a few more pressing issues. Of course most of my vst3 plugins don't have resource directories and I wonder if this might be a problem with the wrapper. I also forgot to mention that the VST3 works fine in Bitwig and Studio One, so likely a Cakewalk issue.
-
I have not been able to get SGear 2.9 to work as a VST3 plugin in Cakewalk (The VST2 version works fine). When I initally scanned SGear, I got errors on three files: FlxComm64.dll, FlxCore64.dll, and SonuusTuner64.dll. These three files are in c:\Program Files\CommonFiles\VST3\SGear2.vst3\Contents\Resources. The first time, I clicked to disable these. On a rescan I clicked to enable these plugins. I am able to pull up an instance of the VST3 version of S-Gear, but it does not make any sound nor show any movement on the input meters.

That's actually nice. For a version 1.2.1 I would have expected it to be a bug that only affects the Mac version of Pro Tools.
-
I ran Native Access last night and didn't see anything. What did they update?
-
Not to mention how much of a pain it would be if every developer decided to put their stuff into wherever they wanted, especially for people who had multiple hosts.

I installed the new version tonight. Unfortunately, the standalone was not working correctly. There seems to be a bug in selecting the correct interface. If this happens to you, you will need to find the registry where the name of the interface is stored, and enter the correct interface. https://www.scuffhamamps.com/forum/7-bugs-issues/8949-s-gear-2-9-standalone-asio-devices-selection-bug I also had a problem getting the VST3 to work in CW but it works OK in SOP4.

Toontrack has released West Coast Rock Grooves. The West Coast, late 1970s. The scene is buzzing with newcomers like Toto, Christopher Cross, Journey and Foreigner. A new breed of rock is on the rise. It’s slick, immaculately performed and has an easy-going, safe and carefree vibe – void of all the common, rowdy traits of rock. In this new sound, elaborate vocal arrangements, percussion and even horns jostle their way to the front of the mix in super-polished productions. But if there’s one instrument that’s really making a resurgence in rock during this era, it’s the piano. The number of anthem-like songs where the piano has the undisputed leading role is huge. In this EZkeys MIDI pack, we move forward on the journey we started with our earlier AOR packs and continue to dig deeper through this massive chapter in our collective music history. Expect more of the creative chord runs, twists, turns and all the signifying traits that made this kind of rock not only conquer stadiums in every corner of America but also all over the world. Yacht rock, soft rock, the West Coast Sound, adult-oriented rock or simply AOR – call it what you will, but one thing is certain: it’s a genre where the piano really shines. https://www.toontrack.com/product/west-coast-rock-ezkeys-midi/ Yacht rock, soft rock, the West Coast Sound, adult-oriented rock or simply AOR – the labels casually attached to this chartbuster of a genre are as many as they are confusing. But whatever you choose to call it, one thing is certain: the smooth soul and jazz, R&B, rock, funk and disco fusion that legends like Toto, Steely Dan, Christopher Cross and many more introduced in the late ’70s became the soundtrack of an era. This collection of drum MIDI continues to explore and dig deeper down the groove treasury we just began to scratch the surface on with our earlier AOR packs. Luckily, there is no ground more fertile to dig in than that of the West Coast. It is simply inexhaustible. Arguably, no other genre aside from maybe jazz has produced more iconic drummers and larger-than-life songs where the drums play a pivotal role. The immortal beats of the likes of Jeff Porcaro, Bernard Purdie and Steve Gadd resonate to this day. Get ready for grooves with an unwavering facility, nuance and sophistication – perfect for any type of rock song in need of that “session drummer” finesse. https://www.toontrack.com/product/west-coast-rock-grooves/

if you're talking about Mercuriall - refresh your browser cache. I meant Revalver. I thought someone said the bundle sale ended Friday, but it is still going on.
-
Still showing the sale price...
-
In addition, the upgrade price was around the same as the BF sale price on the full version BREVERB.
-
You're a few months early with that one.
-
It's an emulation of an EMT plate reverb. A lot of multimode reverbs will have a plate algorithm and there are a lot of impulses taken from these devices available for convolution reverbs. Even with a lot of reverb options available I think this is still worth having.
-
If I'm not mistaken, the Melda turbo delay can do some similar stuff. I do like the way Objeq delay can turn a simple percussion loop into a full fledged drum circle.
-
Their servers get slammed whenever they do giveaways.

There are two things about Mixcraft that really turned me off when I last looked at it. One was having the transport in the middle of the screen where it will get obscured whenever you view a plugin (it sounds like that might not be an issue any more). The other was the lack of MIDI file preview.
