Advise doing the free trial before purchase. This crashes the latest Studio One Pro on two different Lenovo Windows 10 Pro computers I have. OTOH others have apparently not had this problem with S1. Note that S1 is not one of the DAWs supported by Relab.

Yeah, don’t see one specifically from Digital Restoration Suite 2. E-mailed them to find out. -

I’ve got the restoration suite and like it a lot. Now if there was a good upgrade deal ……. -
Gonna have to wait. Can’t even sign in to the Softube site or my account here.

I suppose they haven’t decided to allow machine-based ilock registration with this new update……

To join the apparent GUI aesthetics poll going on here…I’m with you!

I generally find most Toontrack MIDI to be a bit over-done, except EXKeys which I find to be often under-done.

Signed on to my account….followed instructions….no pop up….nada.

Still not sure I would consider the machine licensing “hardware based”, but I understand your larger point. Out of curiosity, have people had substantial issues with ilock machine licensing, when upgrading from Windows 10 to 11? I’m still on 10, EDIT: BTW, until recently I’ve had a similar problem with non-ilock Celemony to the one you’ve expressed concern about. Every time I had a BIOS update, Melodyne would lose its authorization.
-
I guess I’m still not understanding fully your last point. For me, the objectionable “hardware” aspect of ilock is the USB dongle, which is not required for machine-based ilock licensing. I see the underlying ilock “driver” as software rather than hardware, and not materially different than the “product managers” most software companies use.
-
I understand guys objecting to the ilock dongle and the ilock cloud licensing. But what’s the objection to the ilock machine-based licensing that companies like PSP and Soundtoys offer as an alternative? In both of those cases, same time licensing on two computers is available.

Maybe not cheap in absolute terms…..but perhaps the best value in all of audio. And I don’t believe it ever goes on sale for less than these periodic 50% off sales.
-
Yup. How could I forget Combo Model V! I love that thing…forgot that it was free:)
-
Would be nice if they put this one on a CPU diet.

Love the Klang, TDL/VOS, Blue Cat, Native Instruments, Acustica and Arturia giveaways (in particular that Moog they gave away probably more than 10 years ago). Also like the Ignite Amps and TSE stuff, and some of the Voxengo and Sleepy Time tools. No more Loudmax for me due to it’s too small GUI. Also like OBXD, Dexed and a handful of other free synths.

Absolutely great products. Often screwy, frustrating sales/marketing. They will, however, sometimes individually work with you, price-wise ,if you get caught in a really odd situation. And , oh yes, …one more thing …They will never offer, during your lifetime or that of your children or grand-children, a good deal on RX Advanced?
-
This is a very nice piece. Definitely worth $24.99!!
-
I would, in all likelihood, never find much use for these in my mixes……but they are absolutely gorgeous sounding.
-
The most restrictive licensing in the business. Unless you go subscription route, you need to use ilock dongle to authorize. Not for me.

Will this play the old Yellow Tools stuff?

Contemplating using my $50 voucher on this. Hmm….
