  1. ☺ You can. I don't see why not. I use the Console emulators now and then, when ever I remember those exists. It's not bad sounding - including the style dial effects. It comes handy too just wish the EQ module was removable too. When I do use the PC I remove every module on it and only leave the Emulators Modules active. Theres been times when the EQ switch itself on. Maybe some shortcut I'd forgotten about . . . I'm trying to avoid those accidents. I'm saying exactly that. This external input to the side-chain is known as the ‘key input’. When working using plug-ins (rather than hardware) where a bus need to be created to a virtual path. In hardware gear this is done via an insert point known as a "send and return" placed in the side-chain path which connects to output and input sockets on the rear of the unit. Cakewalk emulate this routing method. My current workflow to identify all my SC inputs, is to create a folder and move all my sidechain tracks to it. That being said: moving this to the plugin wouldn't be a bad idea i guess. I too think for visual purpose it will be a benefit?
  2. Fist of all: what is it that you're looping? Midi or Audio? For me - there was no such issues in that build.
  3. @solarlux @GreenLight I actually came to realized thay Cakewalk is doing this the way it's done by hardware because of the prochannel that emulates hardware strips.
  4. Yeah, this is strange. In fact there quite a few popular VST 3 plugins that act this way.
  5. Are you referring to the "Final export" and not bounce to tracks? Just don't select the track you dont want. https://youtu.be/AX-NNen14rs Or with the new 123 build https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/33601-cakewalk-202109-early-access-updated-to-build-123/&do=findComment&comment=273942
  6. Feedback. Creating trackouts now is a breeze and really straight forward. Sound design has never been this easy (a word that will be heard a lot throught this) and far less tracks are being used to achieve this. The streamlined workflow also make internal and external sidechain with dynamic controllers that does not have this built-in feature really easy to create - including parallel sidechain | and | tracking out self-dynamic EQ'ing, is a cakewalk. 100% Flawless! A gold winner. Nice one team.
  7. ? What!? The excitement that is sitting on my face right now for what I just did with a few test and the results I got from it? Heaven! So far from my small test, I doubt there is any boundary limitations with the sidechain side in this update. Sidechain with tracks works perfectly (More feedback within the next 48hrs.) Just to make it clear to others, I've attached a video to show how this works. It is slightly different than how its done with buses. I dont know if anyone else is aware of what this update brings in the flexibility with sidechain as of this EA. If you could just read my mind right now . . . @Noel Borthwick and the team literally broke cakewalk's limitations within its creativity realm - wide open. The things you can do now without plugins - endless! I thank you Noel and Team. Amazing.mp4
  8. @msmcleod I just tried this and it does not work. It still has the same limitations even with snap off. The reason why I keep requesting this is for editing purpose with comping and compression. For instance: right now - im busy with vocals. I'm having a problem with resonance on the letter "D" in the word "Destined" which I cant seem to get rid of with an EQ without thinning out the letter "D" which ends up sounding like a "T." I stole a letter "D" from another word and replaced the problem one. This introduced another problem which can be solved be conpressing it and changing its attack and release so that can fit perfectly in with the word, but my ears need that loop to recognized that. This is also extremely crucial when doing De-essing without a de-esser and for many other countless "Advanced/Pro editing techniques."
  9. Not entirely true. If you press F8 twice - it will display the stretch tool and ones when you're already on the edit tool. Then theres of course the quick shortcut Ctrl+Shift (which you had pointed out already.) The only thing that comes to mind that can cause this would either be a Shift button that is slightly stuck on the keyboard (Left or Right) or a shortcut bind key that has been created with the F8 button.
  10. The "Add Track Menu flyout" and the insert menu when you right click in the FX BIN. It has a smaller slim look- not by much, but it's definitely noticeable and that brings a great touch to it. That being said: It is still larger than the original font size in menus throughout Cakewalk which is set at a font size 11 and the New Audio FX and Synth are at a size 12 Font.
  11. I doubt there is a difference. Other than the human error with the discription from being overworked.
  12. I can confirm this. The installer reads Rebuild 2, but the toast within the DAW read as rebuild #1
  13. Is this the official feedback thread for build 120? The old one reads closed.
  14. Request to have AUX tracks added to Track Control Manager.
  15. Are these still around on the Market? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.soundonsound.com/reviews/cakewalk-v-studio-700%3famp And do you get separate add-on wings for it to add more channels? If not . . . Does Cakewalk support the Icon qcon? https://iconproaudio.com/product/qcon-pro-g2/
  16. Hope you get the comfortability you need. I spend some days 12hrs infront of the desk and working with these home based computer mouse can bring some discomfort.
  17. Will.

    Resolution

No, not in that aspect of scalling. There's a couple DAWs (well more like a hand few) that wrote a code in there software to scale its UI smaller or bigger. Meaning: Everything in the software shrinks and gets smaller or larger for you're far from the monitor - like resizing a plugin in both PPi and DPi.
