Just made a video to demonstrate the possibilities CbB has, if you know how to do it. We still need that thing people keep asking for though! I forgot its name. ? FWIW: We just need to remove some limitations on cropping and loop playback so that we can HEAR what we're doing as I have requested before, please. The steps of bouncing to track could've been eliminated if these restrictions were gone, so that we can create better samples. https://youtu.be/wa_U5Cs_4sc

Both should work.

Feature request to crop clips to at least 2TICKS in size with a further smaller size to the Playback Loop Markers please.

The Plogue VSTi from ARIA Engine seems to crash Cakewalk a lot. I removed mine many moons ago.

This cant be true. It even exports the clicks and pops too. FWIW: I'm doing this effect everytime and never ever heard this behaviour before. I took that same vocal and created this outside of CbB (Different DAW) and tge same Valhalla and Manny Delay does not do this. It does it with the Channel Tools (width/pan sliders) as well. EXAMPLE: The Valhalla starts in mono out to stereo at startup, but then stays in stereo on the effect and export as such too when you duplicate the clip. Meaning it doesnt start back at mono going out to stereo to repeat the effect. I'm gona to have to do a rollback to verify this, because I have some rides starting in mono going out to stereo in build ups on old cakewalk projects and this is a first.

In fact: Some does. These ones are nomally bundled with a lot of preset libraries. ADSR sample manager, Big Fish Audio Momentum - even the TX16. When you have multiple inserts open - yeah they do. At least my desktop 6th Gen i7, 16 GB does. Have not tried this on the new system. One thing in sound design you should always remember is not yo commut to your audio yet and sitala is far from a sampler its more like a player than an actual sampler I have it too. I'll go as far as to say: between it and our very own LC (loop construction) theres not much difference between it except the pads and that you can trigger it via midi keyboard - otherwise theres nothing. I'm actually in the process of creating a video that demonstrates something - so keep an eye out for this in the tutorial section. And I have a feelling, a hint was given a day or two ago right here on the forum. I might be wrong. ?

Who can repro this?

Both were running fine on a 4th-gen-i7 system. I do have them in 64bit that came with my Sonar Platinium bundled, but I have completely rebuild the old machine and wiped everything on it. Installing them means: I will have uninstall CbB to install Sonar and Cakewalk by Bandlab last. That's a process I do not have time for anytime soon.

The beauty in Sound Design is that it does not ask for "quality." In music "Dirt" is candy. Poor quality/coding VSTi's makes for a great vintage sound in HipHop, EDM, Dance and Future Rave. You might hate a thin sound preset - i might hear great detail for a certain sound in it when sculping to taste.

I believe CbB owns the license to Pentagon and Square. I might be wrong, but something like that was mentioned previously.
-
Requesting to please get the Pentagon and Square plugins included in the instrument setup - please.

Go to preferences and midi devices and select the midikeyboard - again.

Muted Audio Track (after Region FX) [SOLVED]
Will. replied to AndyB01's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
• What happens if you press "K" on the keyboard? • Have you check for phase cancellation? • Try to reverse the polarity. • Test to see what happens when you pan each other slightly L&R. -
Yeah. The "sampler discussion" has become a real sensitive topic over the years.

Are you automating the right parameter? Theres two different groups of Automation in CbB. The Clip submenu (with only Gain and Volume) and the other is the submenu group of the PC (Pro Channel) where you can Automate everything. From pan, volume, gain, effects etc.

Automation lines go crazy on tracks with take lanes.
Will. replied to Wojtek Stecyszyn's question in Q&A
HAHAHA! What the heck? Have to say: it is working fine here. That's crazy though. -
I speak roar. Roooar, Roooar, "raw" wait . . ! That one slipped out. ROAR!

How does CbB stack up against other "Pay to Play" DAWS?
Will. replied to Stephen Rybacki's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
This is so not right. Dont tease us . . . ? We want to know. [Soliloquy] where did I put this remote to fast forward time? -
I spoke to one.

Did you save the file accordingly? Prehaps you did not save it as a CWP file?

Round 2.

How does CbB stack up against other "Pay to Play" DAWS?
Will. replied to Stephen Rybacki's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Here's the issue I always have with these question and the " is it good for [specific] genre." Every DAW out there literally is just the workstation. You can create all types of music in them. Yes, some comes with more effects than others, others have more features and brings better workflows -- thats it. That being said: Each have one thing in common - to make music. It is not the DAW that creates the genre - it is the person using it the DAW. Its like asking: ? is the value of a $100 Note, better than two $50 Notes. ? The only thing that will bring a "limit" to any DAW -- is the users ability and knowledge in creativity with sound design. Thats the only thing that separates the DAW from the Genre. -
