  1. I guess my concern was over time those 4 bits sharing the same spot would become an issue. Thanks for straightening me out! t
  2. NO! I jumped on the 4TB QVO back in September, did a little research and canceled. My numbers are probably wrong, someone will correct me, but if I understand it right; a Pro (do I have that right?) is 1TB, the same EVO 2TB is the same drive putting to bits of data on the same spot, the QVO is 4TB puts four bits of data on the same spot. Looks like a recipe for long term problems to me. I’m sure I have over simplified this, maybe even misinterpreted; someone will set me straight. t
  3. I didn't catch the first mix, so I can't comment as to improvement. I can say I did enjoy, so ?! t I'll add a ? for Airliner as well... Always love me some Stevie Guitar Miller

I'll just echo the comments above. Well done, so ?'s. Really good arrangement, that gradual build; very nice. t
  5. It appears you've wrapped your head around CbB pretty well Larry. (this old dog has learned a lot of new tricks from Mike) I'm a 3 minute rocker myself, so the ambient pop genre is a bit of stretch for me. That said, it was a good "chill" piece, and I did enjoy it. The Solstice has come and gone so here's wishing you continued success in the coming New Year! t
  6. Never wish for things you don’t want to happen. The Seattle area is due for a dose of snow and cold. Please don’t take this wrong Doug, but I wish they’d close the border again. ? t for years I frequented Regina, then Brandon in the summertime. I love Canada, but fear I am not “man” enough to weather the winters... have many friends that were effected by the flooding.
  7. Definitely worth a read! @cclarry Perhaps deserves a "Deals" thread of its own! t Ric, I've found a few minor editing errors, but I am enjoying the read!
  8. Downloading and trying the demo would be too easy ? t thanks Lars
  9. Boy, playing the PA voucher game is a Rubix Cube. And I "get" it. So using the $25 voucher puts SPL+ at $24. Can't apply both discounts, and why would we expect them to "give it away"? Question: @cclarry et al I have SPL, do I NEED SPL+ ? or am I sitting here because I thought I could score Plus for $5? t
  10. I had a weird deal 20 years ago. The dial tone was different, like a high pass filter, left to right. I think it was the right ear was like an octave higher in pitch. The ENT I saw gave me with a "puzzled" look and a steroid prescription(anti inflammatory). It "cleared" up, because of, or in spite of the treatment; who knows. The right ear did take a beating about 45 years ago at an indoor pistol range, but that's a different story and I don't want to hijack your thread... You're on the right track. Many of us are of a "certain age" and hearing loss is just a fact of life; like it or not. t
  11. Maybe a little side chain compression, can you side chain dynamic eq? We’ve identified a problem, how do we “fix” it? t
  12. Another nice clean mix here Jack; ?'s! t
  13. Well first off, HAPPY B-DAY TO YA MY FRIEND! It sounds good here, I'd print it and run on to the next one. ?'s t
  14. Hey John, Good to see you back. Nice funky groove on this one. What did you get? Which patch, I'm trying to "bond" with EZBass, but the tone here would work on my tune... only crit, I'd bring the B3 a bit more forward, just me. ? t

    To Live For

I very much enjoyed this one! I listened to the "demo" first, and I think I enjoyed the final print more because I did. Always interesting to get an insight into the creative process of others; so a big Thanks for that! t 14 years is a pretty good run, so better to be thankful than depressed; and you've celebrated his life well here. The worst thing a good dog does is get old on you; been there, done that, more than a few times...
  16. Oh Yeah, a real 60's vibe to this on, ?'s. t I still miss my 688, it was a great piece of kit!
  17. I'm giving a slight edge to the "Vintage" mix. I went back and listened to the old mixes on Band Lab (those are last years still?); the differences are pretty subtle. Would I be able to pick the Vintage mix out in a double blind shootout; with my Golden Ears, you are kidding right? ? Fine vocal here Gary, you've done yourself and Bing proud. And the mix is lovely, so big ?'s here! t as I mentioned last year I don't think I have the big brass cajones necessary to take a run Bing. I guess you have... ?
  18. It’s the midi editing that I find frustrating in EZBass. And navigating in the grid. The downside in EZKeyes is the search function. The search in EZD, SD3, and EZB are welcomed improvements. Hopefully EZK will get a much needed overhaul. t
  19. I’m trying to “bond” with EZBass, but it hasn’t been, well, EZ. t
  20. Man I was about to panic, then the 1 minute mark hit and I breathed a sigh of relief... Enjoyed! t

The forum has voted, and I concur; ?'s! Quite delicate and I'm sure you were not the only one t

    Celtic Way

Much enjoyed this! Any crits would just be picking fly shite out of pepper so speak. OK, just hit the end, so I'm doubling back; I have one tincy incy little crit... I'd end with a long fading note; just my nickel98's worth. t I think I'm hearing the flute in this one better than in "Hope". But again, my ears are a bit battered; some days are better than others. I'd have to go back and compare.
  23. I enjoyed this very much. Maybe a "hole" in my ear's? (why are we not surprised) I'd bring the flute up just a bit. t
  24. Kind of a Beach Boys feel to the vocal harmonies. I think Jack is right though, I'd bring the vocals up a bit. t
