  1. I think Kevin has you headed down the right path. I will add this: The bass is too "wet", pull the verb back, maybe alot. If it was recorded "wet", you need to either get the mic closer to the cab, or add a close mic; then you can "season" to taste so to speak. Definitely got to get the "main" vocal upfront and centered. just my nickel98 Jesse t
  2. ?’s Freddy, ?’s; that’s all I have to say... t that’s a blast from the past!
  3. David I got a “this video is private” when I tried the link. Enjoyed the tune! t
  4. Interesting piece Larry. Much enjoyed! t seems Mike has given you a “handle” on CbB, and quickly. His vids, as you said, are quite good. I never fail to learn something from him...
  5. Another fine production Peter! Big ? ‘s from me. t Gibson Brands Inc has been trying for years to copy the amazing work produced in Kalamazoo MI by Gibson Inc. What’s the difference? Strats and Teles are probably the most copied designs ever; who’s complaining? maybe someone should troll elsewhere... just sayin’
  6. Lots of good stuff here Wooks! I think the highlight is the bass line. What “toy” is that? ?’s t
  7. Tom's ears are certainly better than my pretty battered set; but I'm not hearing it... I agree, really liked the harmony vocal that's fer shure! Overall big ?'s t
  8. I understand why not, but so I'm waiting for the inevitable half off sale! t I'm so weak........ @Bapu I'm blaming you Baps! ? I made the mistake of watching the vid; I love SSSR, I'm sure this will Rock! did I already mention I'm so weak?
  9. The only thing I’m looking for is “Legacy of Rock” (and EZBass midi six pacs). Hopefully, I will complete all the work accumulated on the current road trip; then I can/will? hunker down and truly “learn” the far too many VST &VSTi I already own. I keep promising myself I will “thin the herd”. I did just that with studio hardware, now can I repeat the process with software? stay tuned.... t
  10. Been missing ya man; nice to have you back with a rocker! A little more aggressive tone, or maybe just the placement in the mix, on the lead guitar? Liked the way you brought in the second lead guitar in the bridge. ?’s from me! t
  11. Yeah baby! Top notch on all levels. Performance, songwriting, mix and master. Danny IS something else! Gotta lay a bunch of ?’s on this one. t if I’m in the CR, I’d suggest this little change to verse 2 line 4 “ it’s my dream , and to it I cling”
  12. Thinking the drum buss could pull back just a bit. That snare is dominating the mix to my ears. Little different side of Barry... I’ll hold back the like, but only because you said “first mix”. t
  13. Great collaboration! BIG ?’s to ya both. t I’m already subscribed, and I did “like” and comment; did you?
  14. Who doesn’t like some blues guitar? Yes indeed, thank you @PhonoBrainer And well played! This bad boy grooooooves..... big, Big, BIG ?’s to both of you!! t
  15. Good stuff, why am I not surprised, here Bats. Was wondering if it was slide or maybe a lap steel. Always a fan, but you know that... t oh that ending was kool

Once again a day at the beach fades as the sun sets, time to find a beach bunny, snuggle up and do some “dirty dancing” round the campfire.... t
  17. I’ll sum up quickly what I know about writing “cues” and “bumper” music; ZERO! That being said I think having a folder full of this type of thing might be of interest to the many music libraries out there. Just a thought..., t ?’s
  18. Vocal, guitar and songwriting are outstanding (pull the vox up). I’m listening on Bose wireless cans, and they hype the bass (horribly). Consequently the baseline is the “focus” (on this system) and the Cat is boring. You need a bass player; just keeping it real (hope I’ve not offended). With the drummer and bass “swinging” a little, this is a great tune. So I’ll hold the “like” for now. t as to the mullet, what were we thinking? you see my “cousin it” look from the early ‘70’s ?. Pulled my “current” look due to the Hawaiian shirt in the pic (I’ll leave it at that....)
  19. @Steve PatrickOl Pal this is interesting. I bought the DI thingy last year and it came with a free Amp 5 license. I was able to select Amp 5 as a freebie, now I can sell the DI and still have Amp 5. I would check with support, maybe @Peter - IK Multimediacould let us know if there is a way to add second licenses. t
  20. Been on the road and missed a lot, glad I had a little time this morning to get a few in. Really enjoyed this one Wooks! Just sat here relaxing and could envision the scene.... ?’s t
