  1. Really nice ambiance in this one Wooks, much enjoyed. t liked the crash on this, which SD3 kit is it from?
  2. At almost 5 minutes, I think there is some "fat" in the whole tune that could be trimmed. Also, I'd put the keys and guitar on a buss, and use some side chain compression off the vocal track. That would keep it "below" the vocal, but give a little more "impact" in between the vocal lines. just a suggestion... t
  3. Nothing wrong with the band being "tight". and yep, they are. I'd take it as a compliment.... t
  4. I agree. Left a note at SoundCloud; it reminded me of whales singing - don't know why... t always enjoy your work ?'s
  5. Always enjoy your tunes Doug! ?'s t I can't help myself, I'm always looking for ways to get in, get it done and get out; you know, I'm a three minute rocker. I'll bet I could edit this one to about 3:15... ?
  6. a fan here, always enjoy your work Bats! t
  7. Larry I think what Jack is suggesting is running your bass track thru an amplifier sim. As to the bass, and I've mentioned this before, I think some of the bass lines are a bit too "busy" on this one. In the opening section you're following the keys, and for me, its a bit distracting. (its your tune, so your production; just my nickel98 - take it with a grain of salt) That being said this "ambient pop" continues to grow on me... t
  8. This is a good un! t i r sgt solar, master of the cosmos - and thanks for axing...

  10. I've complained in the past that I haven't "bonded" with EZB. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it... t still waiting for the EZB six pack!

Always enjoy your work Makke! t
  13. This is the song from the tutorials; right? Nicely done. t
  14. Good tune Keith. I'd mix the vocal a bit differently. Too much verb on mix 1, and too much delay on #2; seems to be the consensus. On the DT990's here the bass is dominating the track. So vocal up a bit, bass down a bit. But that's just my take; just a "taste" thing really... t
  15. You never "sugar coat" it! ?'s t glad you got it sorted with YT, shame you had to
  16. This ambient pop thing is kind of growing on me. t
  17. I definitely see this running under the credits, either opening or closing. Good work! t
  18. ?'s Great chorus. t May be debatable...
  19. ?'s I'm fan, what more can I say. t
  20. ?'s! t someone on this forum once resembled it
  21. I thought I had commented on this one; and indeed I had, over at SoundCloud. So a little ?'s here too are in order. t
  22. You know sometimes I prefer to just "listen". Always being in "critique" mode gets tiring... So Larry a ? here from me. t one little crit, and maybe this has something to do with BandLab. There's about 4 seconds of silence on both ends of the track. I'd tighten it up a bit.
  23. No doubt about it, the BBC version is head and shoulders better... t
