  1. So this is KP Pop? ? see what i did there... ?'s t
  2. What VSTi are you using for drums? You're playing in via a keyboard? t agree with the others, like the tune; needs work - kind of a Boston vibe...

    Fourths

?'s t did you play the drums and bass in, or are you using the Toon midi? I find myself using the midi "drop zone" a lot in SD3 and EZD2; getting much more "realistic" results (i think/hope ?) I've also found some interesting bits in EZBass dropping in the drum midi; its helping me learn to use all the keyswitches.
  4. I hear a little "whale song" in the guitar; nice. I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I need a little of that last note to ring out........ . . . . . otherwise mix is fine. t
  5. Good luck with the release, left a "like" and comment for you at YouTube. t
  6. Wooks said it best! ? t J.D. an inspiration?
  7. The consensus seems to be "Baby you're so smooooth...." I can be added to that list, ?'s! t
  8. A good deal for sure! Or $142 if you don't want any expansions. (hint, I'd get the Latin Percussion EZX and Pop/Rock EZX)
  9. cues right up on the computer, I was on the phone earlier; curiouser and curiouser...
  10. Indeed we do! So, shine on you crazy diamond… t
  11. ? ‘S well done Jesse t damn phone won’t let me size the thumb (fixed)
  12. MODO sounds really good here. Not getting the low mid congestion that listening here in the Caravan so often yields. The crit here; I bailed at 3:08 when the main riff came back in. Sorry, but the tune’s a bit too long. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the tune, but I’d trim the fat… t also there’s about 5-6 seconds of silence on the front end. I’d tidy that up.
  13. I think John is right. I’m hearing some low mid congestion here in the Caravan, but that’s pretty typical in this listening environment. What’s the effects chain on the lead guitar? t
  14. Very much enjoyed! Glad you brought it to fruition. t
  15. As always, you are a master storyteller. Indeed a little Steely Dan vibe. As to the second best kazoo, mark’s gonna have to provide a link… t
  16. Just when I was starting to get Ambient Pop, now its Ambient Reggae? You're killin' me man! t On a serious note, I would work on the drums and percussion a bit. If we are indeed shooting for "Reggae" here, it needs some work; not trying to be a buzz kill...

As always Allan, well written, played and mixed. ?'s t I think once I stated Allan made me think of the band The Association. But that's an over simplification. His "style", if you like, is ABull...
  18. Like Charlie Daniels said: "I ain't asking nobody for nothin', If I cant get it on my own" t
  19. One tune from that era that we never covered (in numerous garage & frat party bands). Can't say why. Didn't Clapton credit this for the chord progression for Tales of Brave Ulysses? That should cover White Room as well, non? Anyway ?'s t
  20. Always enjoy your work. Really respect the attention you give to Piano Book by demonstrating and the attention you give to the community... ?'s t

    So Good

I'm not good with "genres" so I'll not try to put a finger on it. As KS said: +1 to that, and t
  22. Somehow I missed mix 2, this is great! t
  23. Neumann TLM 102. I have the 103, a bit over budget for you. I hear good things about the 102. I would avoid a budget tube mic. HTH, t
