One tune from that era that we never covered (in numerous garage & frat party bands). Can't say why. Didn't Clapton credit this for the chord progression for Tales of Brave Ulysses? That should cover White Room as well, non? Anyway ?'s t

I'm not good with "genres" so I'll not try to put a finger on it. As KS said: +1 to that, and t

Somehow I missed mix 2, this is great! t

Neumann TLM 102. I have the 103, a bit over budget for you. I hear good things about the 102. I would avoid a budget tube mic. HTH, t

Is there a tuning issue? By that I mean does the midi for the bass need to be transposed an octave up or down. All the midi bass parts I use in Trilian are based on Trilian being tuned down an octave. BTW, 32 or 64 bits, the .cwp file doesn't care. Old .cwp files created in Sonar x32 should open without issues. In the old days I ran Sonar x64 in the Studio and Sonar x32 on the office rig. I moved files between them all the time. t

It does reflect how I use the SD3 internal mixer (7 internal busses sent to 7 tracks in CbB), but as far as added ambiance; its just SD3. The toms are "damped", and the ride as well. Mybad here, the other kits "blew up" my internal mixer; this of course did not as I didn't re-load it. I have added just the default SD3 Yamaha kit to the link above. (it of course does blow up my mixer) Pretty subtle difference really... In the "full mix" the Guitar, Keys, Bass and Drums are sent to separate instances of IKM's FAME. But I was careful to mute all instances of FAME in the demo mixes. (at least I got that part right) t If you are ever in the Seattle area...

I would demo EZD2, this would allow you to get a feel for how SD3 works (its similar). I don't think the "kits" are nearly as important as all the additional Drum Groove libraries ($15 apprx if you by "6 packs") As @PavlovsCat mentioned above the Mixer is not nearly as "powerful" as SD3's, BUT you can send everything into CbB (I send 8 tracks) and then "massage" it all in Cake.. BTW I put up a demo here t

I have both Legacy of Rock SD3, and Classic Rock the striped down version for EZD2. EZD2 kits work fine in SD3, of course they are a smaller footprint so I'm sure they lack the "depth" of the SD3 kits.

Here's a little demo based on Toon midi from EZKeys, EZBass and Drum Grooves. SD 3 Demo The Keys and Bass fade up as the track progresses so you can hear the drums "naked" and in "context". All my tracks employ either SD3 or EZD2... HTH, t

Its located here EZBass Articulations t I've yet to become Articulate (see what I did there?) I do have an EZ Bass Drum Map, if you are pulling the midi from EZBass to the PRV it might be usefull. Couple things are sketchy, I can't get the "tapping" working, and Ghost Notes and Percussive Right Hand(Loud Mute) must be transposed +12. Don't ask me why...EZ Bass.map

Nicely done Clint. I give this one high marks! ?'s t

Yeah, the intro does; Within you, Without You, Sgt. Peppers. t

Very interesting to watch this evolve. So glad you left all the mixes up. Been quite the journey! ?'s t I would agree the final mix should be at the top of the original post. However, so often the OP throws up the new mix all excited, he's done everything the forum has suggested; "isn't it better?". How can I tell if the original mix is gone?

fixed it for ya! Now write me some lyrics, you have the title... t

One can hope; but I'm not expecting a quantum leap here in sound. But, if makes getting a good backing track quicker/easier, I'll be tickled to death. Following the upgrade insures (hopefully) the long term success of the developer. I'm "invested" in Toon; pure and simple (its crack cocaine, lets face it). t

I use EZD2 and Superior 3. I pre-ordered EZD3, at $79 it was the definition of no-brainer! t

I'd call that a no-brainer! t

@jackson white for me EZDrummer has always been just that; Easy! For those that want complete control, EZD isn't the answer. If you are going to program, or play in your tracks, maybe Toon isn't your answer. The workflow with ToonTrack, that's always been the key for me. Demoing EZD2 will give a user insight into how that works. t
