  2. What more does a tune need? ?'s t I'll hold the like for the re-mix
  3. One of my all time favorite SD numbers. You've done it justice. t
  4. Good advice above. Nice vocal. t
  5. ?'s Lee. Well crafted! only crit: I'd crank the solo up a bit. t in three weeks I'll have a decade on ya, looking back; the sixties weren't all that bad...
  6. A big +1 to all the comments above. Much enjoyed! "please sir, can I have more?" t

To my ears the best Buckers Gibson produces in the "modern" era. I had a Brazilian board 2003 R7, (you know the one they finally got "right"?). It was equipped with Burstbuckers, they sucked (I've owned many PAF and original Patent # equipped Gibby's). I had a wonderful ES339 with the Classic '57's. Closest thing to an original PAF, IMnotsoHO (other than the Fralins; my fav). t
  9. Gotta keep it real here dawg. This thing is "stiff". It starts of with a lovely pedal steel, that I assume is a loop? Then at 0:41, 1:55, and 2:43 we have the pedal steel loops again? The loops all have a real "feel" to them. The rest of it just falls right on the beat, but with no "life" to it. Again, keeping it "real"; not your best work. Sorry for the negative review Jack, but... t
  10. NO! Thomann has singles for $26 @Bapu you linked back to this page...
  11. This is where the "midi drop zone" works for me. Create a 2 measure pattern, I use the kick and snare (duh). Bounce that clip so it is exactly 2 measures long. Drop it in the "drop zone". EZD will throw a bunch of grooves at ya. Now if you don't have a plethora (think myself and Baps here) then of course your choices will be limited. As I said; "works for me". I can "tart" up a track pretty quickly this way... YMMV t
  12. Now that's a horse of a different colour! All in! Thank you! t
  13. Yeah, so does one wait for the inevitable SD4 upgrade, or drop $99 $79 now? (there's a reason the initials are DA!) Questions, questions, questions... We know what @Bapu will do; non? Well I have some time to decide... (yeah, right! admit you are useless and weak) So @cclarry what's the best deal on EZD2 for those who are not yet on the ToonTrain? Thomann at $138? One presumes that would entitle one to the "free" upgrade. Will the upgrade be discounted by dealers? t the dealer is a man with a lot of grass in his hand the pusher is a monster
  14. You've gone BIG to be sure... t
  15. Good tutorial on sidechaning here. Its focused on the kick and bass; but its all the same principal Freeze a bunch of stuff t
  16. Keys needs an overhaul WAY more than EZD2... So EZD3 will have the grid editor like SD3? t
  17. A little suggestion here lyrically: Someone to take me there, it won't take long I know to fix that little mistake tear, (as in tare, torn not tear -tir- as in a teardrop) why is the english language so complicated? almost sorry I mentioned it. ? t
  18. Well that says it all, doesn't it! Put the backing track on its own buss. Sidechain the vocal to duck it a couple of dB. That would give me the little vocal boost I'd lobby for, and Mark the boost in the solo section. Priceless! t
  19. Maybe Jack's right, add percussion on the verse after coming out of the first chorus. The "radio friendly" mix; I'd pull the first run thru of the second chorus. You did some changes to the harmonies there, nice touch. 3 minute rocker here so take any suggestions with a grain of salt. Overall, ?'s t
