  1. HTH, maybe since you have YT prem you won't have to watch the 15 second ad that I did... t
  2. I could NOT build either of these amps and pay my bills at this price point. Flipping burgers at $20 an hour would be a “huge” raise in pay… And even “top of the market” is pretty much “a labor of love”! t

    Problem solved!

Thanks to the mods for prompt response!
  4. 200 million albums sold, and still counting. Yeah, I’d keep working that A chord too… t
  5. Yup, only difference is this puts everyone at the same time. Maybe this is a “heads-up” something is about to change? just speculation here, inquiring minds want to know… t this IS the Coffee House , ya?
  6. I'll just echo all of the above... t
  7. Hey Gary, Just a couple of "niggles" here in my opinion. There are times when Thomas' vocals get very "intimate" and need a little more automation to bring up the level. In the into for example "I don't know my destination or why I'm walkin' here" Just about lose that "here" in the mix. Another place I have noticed it is in the chorus "there again". This last run through I think those are all pretty good. Great tune, great work on your part! t
  8. As Mark said select: Sign In to BandLab from the help menu
  9. We’ll actually the credit goes to @scookhe has explained how it’s done more than once. With SSD’s you can let yourself get lazy and ignore the “bloat”, except when you image the OS drive all that comes back to bite you in the tush. Keep the OS drive “lean and mean”, image it often and IME you’ll have a healthy and happy DAW. YMMV t
  10. try Help>Log in to BandLab should do the trick. t

    Whatever

Left my like and comment over at YouTube. Something came up and I’m just getting back now. Loved it! t
  12. <rant> Create a “junction” and get this beast off the C drive. Totally unnecessary for it and TRackS et al to “hog” so much space. Lazy design (typical) on the part of IKM. The installer could just as easily ask where you want this data to reside (on your sample drive; duh!) Drives me nuts! </rant> t The junction looks like this: (bear in mind that my sample drive is "V" and named VSTi. the juction is created in the Command Prompt and must be run as "administrator" do your due diligence and learn how to do it properly. IF I can do it, so can you!) mklink /j "C:\Program Files\IK Multimedia\ToneX" "V:\VSTi\IK Multimedia\ToneX" ToneX 4.18gb Amp5 2.91 gb T-RackS 5 1.89gb Amp 4 1gb
  13. Just played it in the van. You got the?

    Easy Peasy

Liked this a lot Bjorn. Song: solid A. Midi performance: Midi guitar is a tough one, a lot of subtle "touch" goes into a great performance. fret_man went into depth how he gets "realistic" midi performances for fretted instruments here. You might check it out. Again ?'s overall. But a little more tweaking to the midi would push it to ?'s & ?'s. t
  15. You're getting closer Gary. I'm happy where the backing vocals sit. Hopefully some more folks will chime in. Couple of thoughts: 1) I'd like a bit more level on the snare, but as you often say "we all paint different pictures". 2) In the last run through the chorus, in the outro, the lead guitar does some "unison bends" (ala Jimi Hendrix) and they have all but disappeared in this last mix. I'd pull those back up! Overall ?'s. Anxiously awaiting the final mix! t
  16. @Marcellobounce all the tracks down to a stereo mix. Archive all tracks ( this is easier if things are organized in folders. Now all you have running is the backing track you are playing to, and the one guitar track you are recording. This should allow CbB to run glitch free at the interface’s lowest setting. HTH, t
  17. @Kevin Lawrenceconsensus seems to be that you select "Sign in to BandLab". Seems like "activate now" was at one time an option. Got the "red toast" yesterday, and signed in to BandLab; all good here. HTH, t
  18. Late to the party. I'll just echo all that has already been said. So sadly relevant. t left a like and comment over at YouTube, hope y'all have/will as well...
  19. So I'm going to agree with David, the Masshoff kit, although for me its the kick. The snare "rings" a bit much to my ears, but for some that's the "sound" they're after. I prefer the "crack" of a Louisville Slugger, compared to the "ring" of an aluminum bat; but that's just me... Another great tune Bats. t
  20. This is just so good at all levels Gary. Take a bow man! As Lynn said, loved the shot from the studio. And the twist at the end where Thomas wakes up and his song is gone; very cool... ?'s ?'s t
  21. Very touching Wooks. I feel for the both of you. Wish there was something I/we could do to help; more than just support you here on the forum. Take care my/our furry friend... t
