I wish that all those who have nothing to add to the conversation, and are just "stirring the pot", or just "listening to the sound of their own voice"; would keep it "downstairs" where it belongs. IF, on the other hand, you are looking for information on Sonar, go to Noel's page and click on "see their activity." That is where you will find all the information that is "known" to date. That's the "wheat", all the whining and "hand wringing" is the "chaff"... t

They've owned it since April 2018. Forward What Cubase users own ZERO third party plugs? Really? Demo Cubase, if you like it, its on sale at 30% off $405.99. (reg $579.99) Pretty much Cubase updates about every 18 months, currently the upgrade 12>13 is $69.99 (again 30% off, reg $99.99) For me Sonar (which will replace CbB [Cakewlak by Bandlab]) is a no-brainer at $14.99 a month. (this is BandLab's Backstage Pass "package" that includes access to Sonar) see here for details Membership Once pricing is sorted I will undoubtedly "purchase" Sonar... (as we all know, you never really "own" software, just a license to use it....) t Best advice: Use CbB until pricing on Sonar is sorted, as Dave said above, demo a bunch of DAW's; what have you got to lose?

@Bad Penguin Here's your midi files for Big Rock 240 files in 49 folders compare with "Classic Rock", the cut down "Legacy of Rock", at 274 files in 60 folders A no-brainer for me, with the $7 of "Best Coin" I'm in at $23 and a few pennies... t Just buy it, you can thank me later....

I’m confused Gary. Non master is your original mix? The “re-master” is the professional master? I was under the impression that the re-master was done on the ARC Studio. I would have to hear them both at the same volume, louder always wins; right? t

Then split the drum clip and move only the part that needs it. Save a backup copy BEFORE you do anything. Deselect “copy audio” and leave the backup copy in the same folder. You don’t need/want two copies of all the audio tracks. Am I right the drums are midi? t

Assuming the drums are a midi track. “Bounce to clip” all the drum midi. Then in the “Inspector” the “start time” will be shown. You can move that start time forward or backward on the timeline by “ticks”. When the “feel” is right, lock the midi clip. hsmusic is suggesting minus 20-30 ticks. It depends on the “resolution” your using. That’s set in the preferences. I believe that 960 ticks per quarter note is “default” these days. I generally use 240, back in the day 120 was pretty common… t
