IK Multimedia Plugins Crashes Cakewalk {SOLVED}
jesse g replied to Sent4th's topic in Instruments & Effects
Senth4th Cakewalk by Bandlab doesn't support Sonar Platinum, they support their product which is Cakewalk by Bandlab . Try installing Cakewalk by Bandlab and then use your IK plugins. I added 11 instances of it to Cakewalk by Bandlab it it didn't crash, however when I tried 15 instances, it then crashed so this plugin is a resource hog. My audio processing went to 66.2 percent -
Brian, On the compressor section, go to the bottom and click FAST and then increase the ratio slightly to taste to increase the attack time.

Happy birthday Bapu!! Enjoy your day to the fullest and eat, uh ... blend and sip plenty of cake. ?

Shane, are you using job sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and so on. I was let go from my company as they downsized and placed my resume on indeed.com and one week later receive three interviews. After two more weeks of interviews I was hired by this great company. Keep in mind this is Philadelphia of course, but I was hired and I am 57.

Skook, Never mind, The reason I didn't see how to load the presets was because I had the the bx_console SSL 9000 J opened in Plugin Doctor which didn't allow me to see the VST3 download arrow in order for me to select load. Once I opened it directly in Cakewalk, it showed accurately. Thanks for your help.

Scook, There are many presets there, but from the plugin itself, there is no way to access the presets. What are you clicking on to access the presets? Thanks.

Hello All, I purchased the Bx_console SSL 9000 J during the Christmas sale for a great price and used it a few times. however, I am just getting around to using it in depth. I am unable to locate the presets for it. Does anyone know where to find them in Cakewalk by Band Lab? Features 72 different (!) TMT Channel emulations in one plugin, just like a real console Switchable EQ modes between E and G-style filters 9000 series-only dynamics features such as “peak detect” and expander/gate “hold” Continuously variable THD and Virtual Gain controls to add colorful saturation and/or simulated analog noise independently or globally Scalable UI to adapt to your screensize and workflow Loaded with plenty of useful presets to give you a starting place for finding your sound Refined with help from mixing legend Michael Brauer, who tested the plugin against his favorite SL 9000 J console and provided feedback and notes The only true CONSOLE emulation—everything else is just a channel strip. Featuring TMT (Tolerane Modeling Technology, US Patent No. 10,725,727)

I found this great site for training your ear for mixing and Mastering. I opened a free account, however, they have several different types of paid accounts as well with much more stuff available. Basically the website is filled with games used to allow you to listed carefully and choose the correct response. This can involve EQ, Mixing, Compression, Reverb, and many more. Try the free account first, and if you want to go further with Sound GYM, become paid subscriber. https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/soundgym https://producerhive.com/buyer-guides/learn/soundgym-review/ https://www.musicindustryhowto.com/soundgym-review/ ~~~> SOUNDGYM

Mackie MCU Pro DAW Control Surface with Motorized Faders
jesse g replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Those Pro models had so many problems. I still use my Mackie Control Universal daily and it works like a champ. I can still adjust all of my plugins controls with the pan pots, control track, buses, and outputs. I love this MCU, however, I am thinking about getting an iCon Pro G2. -
Well I guess you can get it for less than $29.99 after all. LOL
-
I bought this Brainworx bx_console SSL 9000 J during the Christmas sale, i don't think it sales for $29.99. I love using this console better than the Waves SSL4000. Get it cheap while you can.

Nice John, I too have been using my Lexicon MX200 as an External Insert for a reverb FX on my Cue Bus. I don't record anything from that bus at all, I just use a SEND from the singers vocal track to Cue Bus and place the external inset on it. I then place the output to my 3/4 outs which go to my external head phone amp. So the singer receives reverb when they sing and I can dial in the flavor of reverb they may want to hear. The Vocals track Output go to the Vox Bus, which goes to the Mix Bus The Vocals track have a send which goes to the Cue Bus, which is not recorded. The Cue Bus has the External Insert (Lexicon MX 200) on it The Cue Bus goes directly to the head phone amp. The singer receives reverb in their head phones which doesn't get recorded.

Dustpuppy showed me how to use Cyclone in Sonar back in the day.

Musiclab.com had a product called Midi Over LAN that I used to use year and years ago which allowed me to control my Midi over my network, which worked flawlessly, I don't know if they still sell it or not, but it worked great.

True Bapu, If I would have purchased the external drive, I would have connected it to my old laptop sitting in the corner not connected to the Internet and formatted it first.
-
I think he started nibbling on it with the anticipation of something exciting happening, like the loss of all of my files.
-
Thanks everyone, I did not buy the drive from Walmart but instead skipped the purchase after reading all of the responses.
