  1. Shane, I have been looking at getting another hardware compressor and I was looking at the ART Pro VLA II, How do you like using it ? I saw it listed in your signature, so I figured I ask about it's performance. If I don't get that, then I will move up to a B-Stock Warm Audio WA76. I like the ART Pro VLA II because it's a 2 channel compressor. Have you done any modification to it yet?
  2. I had an overlap with Brainworx bx_masterdesk and the bx_console Focusrite SC, so I didn't install them again, However, I was well pleased with the items below. Black Box Analog Design HG-2 Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Ampeg SVT-VR bx_oberhausen
  3. Fwrend, I stand corrected. I checked and you can download your plugins straight from the Account section of the PA website and install the plugins successfully onto your DAW. ?
  4. NOPE, it must be used after you get it from the plugin Alliance website.

  6. There you are, Cakewalk track templates to the rescue.
  7. How could you purchase an item like that first without knowing if it would or wouldn't work with your DAW. I spend hours finding out about a product before I buy it. I watch videos, read SOS mag, You Tube channels, and Google the heck out of it.
  8. I just checked this morning and had 13g of sugar on my chocolate donut; How'd the heck did that get in there?? ?
  9. Ooohhhhh, Goodbye little orange and white triangle,.......uninstall ?
  10. Thanks Alan, I know the wife story oh too well, LOL ?
  11. AWE Alan, and I was just going to fill my rack up with nothing but Warm Audio gear !! LOL ? But seriously, I do want the WA-76. next added to my rack. I am saving my pennies for that now. It's time to step buying what I can settle for and buy what I really want. I was going to settle for the ART Pro-VLA II Compressor, but I said no, I deserve some good gear. YEA ME!!! ?
  12. I like buying from Sweetwater. I really don't care who my sales engineer is, but I do like receiving the candy. It seems like, lately that they have cut back on the amount of candy shipped out with the order; Has anyone else noticed the candy cut back from Sweetwater? Oh well, my wife and I was hoping that Gear Fest was going to be at Sweetwater this year, but it was in Atlanta, so maybe next year we will get to go to Fort Wayne, Indiana to the HUGE store and grab some gear in person to load into the SUV.
  13. I forgot about the Cakewalk Coffee mug, thanks for the reminder Ed!! Give out the T-shirts and or the Cakewalk coffee mugs for the 4 year Anniversary Cakewalk by Bandlab. I am thirsty and shirtless. ?
  14. Yes, the tone is great. I really like the EQ, as I turn off the Mic Pre and process the vocals separately from other songs in Cakewalk using it at times. I am now on a hardware binge. I'm looking for other Warm Audio gear to acquire.
  15. I'm not gonna even try to get it, I don't want to be bothered by their emails.
  16. I received Kontakt 6.7.1 and an updated indigo Dust 1.02
  17. Craigb, only you man, ... only you! ?
  18. I recently had that though, as I had a pair of KRK V6's, KRK Rokit 5's and KRK V4's monitors. I loved switching between them using my Mackie Big knob (Original). I decided I wanted to move onto a better pair of monitors and sold the KRK V6's and purchased a pair of Frontier Monitors by Output ~~~~> Output Frontier These monitors are designed by Barefoot, one of the best monitor companies in recording. ~~~~> Barefoot Sound So now I use the Output Frontier's, and alternate between the KRK V5's and the KRK V4's . I can clearly hear my mixes which caused me to remix a lot of my stuff using the Output Frontier's. I'd say get a great set of monitors and sell off the other monitor to get an excellent pair of primary monitors.
  19. "It’s not quite hell freezing over, but Universal Audio’s decision to start releasing native versions of its UAD plugins on the new Spark subscription platform (VST3/AU/AAX), so that they can run in pretty much any DAW without any UA hardware, still counts as an abrupt change in philosophy. Initially available for Mac (Windows support is coming later this year), Spark is billed as an evolving platform that will cost you $20 a month (plus taxes outside the US), though you can try before you buy with a 14-day free trial. If you own one of UA’s Volt audio interfaces, meanwhile, you can try Spark free for a month. It’s also worth noting that, if you’re a UAD hardware owner and have already purchased a perpetual license of a UAD plugin featured in Spark, you’ll get the native version for free (no subscription required). So, you’ll be able to take that plugin wherever you go, regardless of whether your Apollo or other UAD hardware has come along for the ride." UAD Spark plug‑ins run on your Mac, No UA hardware required. (Windows coming Fall 2022) https://www.uaudio.com/
