  1. Thanks Scook. I went to the website downloaded and updated. While There I saw a deal on the Solid State Logic SSL X-EQ 2 for $39.00 + tax. Not bad at all. https://store.solidstatelogic.com/products/ssl-native-x-eq-2
  2. Marc, Thanks for the information, It's nice, While on the SSL Website, click Support on the left and then go to Downloads and select Product > SSL 360. Have fun.
  3. I got in on the SSL Bus Comp 2 and Channel Strip 2 purchase as well with the Solid State Logic SSL Native Essentials Plug-in deal at $49 plus tax. That was the best plugin purchase EVER!! This is a nice amount taken off of this SSL X-EQ 2 price too, Time to get another Native SSL plugin. ?
  4. Telecode 101, It may not be that useful, but the free version of the same plugin beats a purchased $99.00 one any day of the week. ☺️
  5. I just got the bx meter plugin for free by logging into my PA account and using the code: BX-MTR-FREE-AZ45H8 after placing the bx-meter into my account and checking out. Nice.
  6. EDM..., I can't use that. LOL ?

    Gone again!

Have a great time Larry, I may see you in NC, Myrtle Beach, I'll be the one dressed like this at the beach.
  9. Nicely written review Bitflipper, it covers all the bases. I just wished you named some of those bad plugins you were testing. LOL, especially the $249.00 one, If I own that one, I might be angry right now. Do you download the free trial of the plugin and test it first with Plugin Doctor to ensure you are getting your money's worth?
  10. Hey All, When I load some plugins and give them the same settings, I notice that they don't all give me the same outcome when I play back the specific section of music that was affected by the FX. I asked a friend that I know who has a commercial studio and he referred me to Plugin Doctor. He showed me how it worked and I was amazed how two similar EQ plugins gave me different results with my EQ curves using Plugin Doctor. 11. You just need a Groove 3 account to get the Waves plugin. I used the same groove 3 account I had from the very beginning. I just logged into it and It allows me to watch my paid videos anytime. The free 30 day pass is the one that will allow you to watch ANY video at any time free for 30 days . You will have to use a new email account to register for that 30 day FREE account.
  12. I was looking at this unit too as my next major purchase. My Mackie Control Unit is is having a master fader problem where the fader goes to the top of the channel and gets stuck there. Also, the red lights for the numbers are fading.
  13. Here it is with Cakewalk by Bandlab being used by Mike. He has a great YouTube channel about Cakewalk by Bandlab
  14. Shane, I am praying you get a better deal soon.
  15. I have Verizon Fios and I get 100 MB upload and down load and only pay 129.99 a month. plus I have YouTube TV in the plan and other included channels. Shane you are being robbed!!
  16. In Cakewalk, go to the browser section of the DAW, if you don't see it, select from the Tool Bar > Views Browser. Now navigate to where you hare your Unison Midi File located and they should be orange in color. For instance, I keep my Unison Files on an internal SSD, so I have to go to D:\DAW Sanples and storage\1 MIDI Library\Unison MIDI Chord Pack. Once that is opened in my Cakewalk browser I find what I want and I drag it into the Midi track of the Instrument I have opened like a piano or a synth. (In the synth options page of the Virtual instrument, choose to see the Midi source and first audio output for your instrument). So you should have one Midi track and one instrument track for your keyboard, let's say. So go to your Unison Midi Chord pack and you should see, Unison Midi Chord Pack, and 12 folders - C Maj thru B Maj. Go click on any one of those 1 - 12 packs and you will see 4 folders , Triads, Extended Chords, Borrowed & Modal Cords, and finally Progressions. Now open Progressions, and select Advanced progressions. Now select and open either Major or Minor and drag the one selected to the Midi track of the instrument you have opened. Make your it is not on the audio track but on the Midi track at the very beginning and press play. You should hear the chords of the instrument. You can now double click on the midi track to open the piano roll and edit the midi file if you want or you can close it and add more progression to that midi track. if you highlight the midi clip and press CTRL + L you can loop the Midi clip and then drag it out as long as you want and the speed in which it is played will change when the tempo is changed. Important, there is a READ ME (15 Page Walk-through) PDF in the folder, "Unison MIDI Chord Pack" you will need to read that fully to understand how the chord pack works. Enjoy
  17. I use Aomei for cloning my OS drive to larger TB SSD's, but I need to invest in NAS storage for my Backups. Right now, my Backup[ consist of manually backing up to a WD 6TB "My Book" with a Red HD I put in it. How lame am I, right ? Unless there is some one out there who doesn't' even back up!!
  18. Nice Price Larry, Also, folks need to watch this video to know more about headphone before buying. The ohms count when buying studio headphones. Enjoy.
  19. I just saw a great youtube video from Mike, Create Sauce, explaining data backup and how he goes about it using Cakewalk by Bandlab. What ways are you backing up your system and your data??
