  1. Wookie, I expect to hear another of your spacey creations real soon. Hoping the best for you.
  2. Mark, I love the guitar part which is kind of simple but beautiful and you played it beautifully. Wasn't sure if a male vocalist could make the lyrics work but you did. All around excellent. -Bjorn
  3. I think I'd recognize the Wookie style anywhere. Liking that main lead synth. Tempo change at ~3:00 seemed to accelerate or maybe I just expected it to. Nice change up. Good job! -Bjorn
  4. Comes across to me as honest emotion, especially in the chorus. Maybe a little reverb there would help emphasize the emotion even more? Very clear lyrics which I appreciate. Didn't need the lyrics in text form. -Bjorn

    Heart

Well done production. Vocalist comes across well in the mix but I didn't understand most of the lyrics probably because of my decrepit ears. Very contemporary sound which you don't hear much of in this forum. -Bjorn
  6. I listened to both version and I think the 2nd drum track is a lot better. I like how the synth kicks in at :20 and remains in the background almost throughout. Guitar fits in well but level could be bit lower IMO. I enjoyed the spacy video. Great job. -Bjorn
  7. Ross, just an excellent arrangement and performance that brings out the beauty of the melody. -Bjorn
  8. Hey Steve, Don't know how you do it but that is a perfect cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs. Really nice! -Bjorn
  9. Just a beautiful voice and a piano. Knocked me out. -Bjorn ...the "current" Mrs Daryl always makes me laugh.
  10. What you're doing reminds me of Deep Forest who blended ethnic and western music into some nice compositions. Check out Best of Deep Forest on You Tube. -Bjorn
  11. Nicely done. Great voice. The song is sad because of the lyrics but I wouldn't have thought so if I just heard the music. IDK maybe it needs more minor chords or something. Not sure about the genre. Could be country if you had more of a country voice. -Bjorn

    Slow Down

I like the kind of Theremin sound in there. I bought UJam virtual pianist recently on sale. It's similar to EZKeys I think. Haven't used it yet. -Bjorn

    Cygnus

equality- thanks. I've named a few of my songs after constellations and planets and moons of planets. Yep, Cygnus the swan is up there. Wookie - thanks again KS - thanks again. appreciate it

    Cygnus

Cygnus Moody and kind of hypnotic. I'm liking UVI Falcon more and more. Their Quadra expansion has some nice backing track presets. I used Luftrum Rain Voice preset (Pigments) for the whispering sound effect Pigments Zebra Omnisphere Waldorf Nave (forgot I had this one) Falcon Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn

    Mellow

Certainly put me in a mellow mood. Very nice. I thought your falsetto fit the song perfectly. -Bjorn
  16. Steve, I always like your takes on historical and technology things. Great video and song! It's almost magical how much technology has evolved since those black and white 60s. -Bjorn
  17. I see what you mean by listen to and not listen to at the same time. It's a well done background track that I got into, but then I really wanted to hear something jump out in front. Just my opinion. -Bjorn
  18. Trump Guitars hit with cease and desist from Gibson over use of Les Paul body shape https://www.guitarworld.com/gear/electric-guitars/trump-guitars
  19. Treesha, Nice job on the video and on the song. You nailed the lyrics and I know that because I can totally relate to them. Glad you were able to find the time to work on the song. -Bjorn
  20. Really like the guitar chord patterns with the heavy reverb. The bass joined in at the right time - sounds great. The strings gave it a nicely done cinematic turn. The song seemed to end a bit abruptly. -Bjorn
  21. Oh yeah, I like the Cherry audio and Arturia recreations of those 70's synths. 1:54 wow I like how the marching pattern breaks out into that symphonic sound. The different passages seems like you're telling a story. Could work with that seagull theme if you're still working on that. One of the best I've heard from you. -Bjorn

    Koi Pools

I like the song a lot tho I didn't really pick up on the lyrics. Maybe too low or too much reverb or it could be because of my hearing loss. But IMO that's ok since the music is really good -Bjorn
  23. I agree with everything said above about the vocal level and keyboard volume. But very cool song! Totally enjoyed it. Kind of has that 60s sound to it which is probably why I like it so much. -Bjorn
  24. equality- thank you. appreciate the comment Steve - yikes. sorry to hear about the water damage! hope the studio is back up soon.
  25. Beautiful and heartfelt. The guitar needs to be brought up more as already mentioned. I was in Australia a couple of years ago, up in the Darwin area and down in Tasmania for nature photography. Had a great time and I really want to go back. -Bjorn
