Lynn, I stay up really late and stuff just happens. I'm a little surprised myself the next morning what I posted. I used AAS Objeq Delay on my voice. Some of the preset effects are extreme but you can dial it back. Thanks for commenting. David, Thanks. I think I need to take fewer pills actually.

Wookie I like that growly bass that somehow fits the image of a gas giant planet. I never would have guessed that was EZBass via Guitar Rig if that's what it is. Nice one. -Bjorn

You don't hear songs so radically changed as your cover but it works very well. You could say it's a new song (except for the lyrics) influenced by the Beatles. Wonder how many listeners are familiar with the original these days. Reminds me of another cover. Pink Martini did Que Sera Sera in a minor key which takes a little getting used to. -Bjorn

I'm not a CW fan at all, but I do like some of the 40's and 50's songs because they're strong on melody. Hank Williams especially had a talent for writing engaging melodic songs. Had no idea this one was one of his. Maybe the voc track could be raised a bit here (just my opinion) but you guys did a great job! Liking it a lot. -Bjorn

Same Dream Every Night I'm going to put together a video with this piece as soundtrack. There are voices on walkie talkies which will be sinister agents watching me. Or something like that. I played around with varying the tempo and inserting pitch bends here and there. I'll probably change some of the notes in the higher pitches since they didn't come out that well. After downloading it yesterday I got an email from Tracy saying "Please download your Fiddle again. We put in a fix of the shorts." Not sure what "shorts" means, but must refer to the staccato problem mentioned above. I'm not hearing any pops here. -Bjorn

Sounds to me like you have a good grasp of composition and music theory. Just need to get the instruments to sound better and seems like you're progressing with that. -Bjorn

Sometimes I find a short sequence of notes that conjure up magic somehow and it does the same to other listeners. You did that here in a couple of places in your song. Very nice. -Bjorn

Downloading it now. I have Bolder Sounds Fiddle ( http://www.boldersounds.com ) which is excellent but another fiddle can't hurt. Indiginus' instruments always impress, and on top of that they're affordable.

I bought the SQ80 vst because I had the ESQ1 about 30 (!) years ago and they're almost the same. Bought it mostly for nostalgia sake I guess.

Treesha, I often hear people complain about their vocals, but when I listen to them I nearly always think what are they talking about? The singing is wonderful. And that's what I thought when listening to Walk A Mile. You did a great job with the recording. Now my vocals..they really are bad. ? I thought the accompaniment could be a bit more minor key considering the lyrics but that's just me. -Bjorn

Well, hardly a train wreck. And anyway, you've been blessed with that great country voice that grabs all the attention. If you hadn't mentioned the pedal steel, I guess I wouldn't have thought it was missing. But since you mentioned it, I think it would sound really good here. I like the Indiginus Steel Guitar which is fairly easy to control the various articulations, it sounds pretty good and the price is right (though you need the full Kontakt sampler) -Bjorn
