I'm blown away by the performance and sheer musicianship. Just excellent! -Bjorn

JohnB, KSband Thanks for listening and commenting. Appreciate it -Bjorn

Larry, well done! The timing changes keep the listener on their toes. Cool harmonica ending . The quiet parts were perhaps a bit too quiet? -Bjorn

John, your usual excellent lyrics and I'm impressed. I like how the instruments interact with the vocal and with each other. This might be the best vocal I've heard from you because your voice seems more controlled or something. I just noticed the voc part that begins "How recklessly you use me..." seems to have been recorded in a different environment? Not a biggie though. -Bjorn

Two years later I get around to finishing this one. I used a lot of delay fx with NI Replika and uHe ColourCopy. Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn

Jerry, very enjoyable esp knowing you not only did the music but made the photos. The music isn't exactly "space music" but it creates a surreal mood to the images IMO. My space music videos always feature photos I've stolen from NASA. ? -Bjorn

Freddy, love the interplay between the main vocal and bg vocals. Outstanding organ and I'm assuming you played a vst instrument. I really like this one. -Bjorn

Best I've heard from you Jesse. Just discovered this is in three parts? The third one is my fav. -Bjorn

Not a metal fan, never heard this song before, but gotta say I really like it. Good luck to you! -Bjorn

Great song, great lyrics. 0:35 There's a real familiar riff for a couple of seconds here. A few years ago there were billboards proclaiming the end of the world would happen on a certain date, the date being my birthday. I thought wow what a great present: Armageddon. -Bjorn

Grove lock (groove lock?) Just out of convention I really wanted to hear a guitar solo come in but I think it works if the video is the main focus. -Bjorn
-
Love every second of it. IDK I just like the attitude behind the lyrics I guess. The guitar, drums lyrics and the extra background stuff just made the whole package so likable. -Bjorn

Outstanding of you Nigel to provide training and experience for unemployed youth. Nicely done video. I like how the lyrics are coordinated with the music which isn't easy to do. -Bjorn

Gary, great song! The vocal styling is perfect for the genre and the harmonies really gel. I wouldn't have guessed that country music would be popular in Norway, but why not? BTW I was on a photo tour of Norway last year and have to say it's one of the most scenic places on earth. -Bjorn

I bought Synthesizer V, Kevin and Solaria recently and I'm slowly getting the hang of making the voices sound adequate. You did a great job with them! Is that "Kevin" at the beginning of the song? -Bjorn

Gives me a peaceful and relaxed feeling. Like Jack mentioned it could use something more melodic on top. Dialing up the reverb a little (or a lot) would ramp up the cosmic component, as would a bit of delay effects. Nice job on this. -=Bjorn

Nice one Jack. Different themes going on here but the instruments play off each other really well. Enjoyed it. -Bjorn

I agree with the other comments. Also, here's a comment on the lyrics. I like to write lyrics so I pay attention to them and maybe learn from other writer's work. Here the lyrics follow the beat of the music really well. Great choice of words with the inflection in the right place. I'm thinking it must have taken a lot of time to get them flowing so well. Great job! -Bjorn

Nice. Takes me back to the early days of electronica (Kitaro, Tomita, Oldfield etc) though yours has more of a jazzy take. -Bjorn- 14 replies

Paul, I know in the past you've had some timing issues with your songs, but I didn't really notice anything off in this one. As others have mentioned your voice is perfect for the genre. -Bjorn
-
Very nice Jerry. Enjoyed it very much. -Bjorn

Tom, sounds good to me from the very start which usually means you've tweaked the freqs to their utmost and all that other sound engineer stuff I wish I could do. I really like the positive feel of the song and the humor, like being grateful that pianos haven't fallen on your head today, things like that. Bit of a John Lennon mood to it I thought. "That's cheery" made me laugh. Couldn't follow the lyrics in a couple of spots, but mostly they came across pretty well. Anyway, big thumbs up on this one, Tom. Really liked it. -Bjorn

Daryl, you have such a knack for catchy pop songs. I like how everything is so crystal clear and present, and I like how you made "finance" and "romance" work. -Bjorn
-
Very moving. The song would be well received at a memorial service. -Bjorn

Wookie I like the pattern of noises - door slams, footstops (I think) at the beginning and end. Definitely a video soundtrack. I'm visualizing a story while listening. Good job -Bjorn
