Thinking is dangerous - stop it. Now. If it becomes contagious the whole deal forum could collapse ?

Thanks for the heads up I don't always read the update details. I could see dropping support for 32 bit and not including new version in the installer. But I don't understand why they (and other developers) feel the need to delete existing 32 bit installations. Komplete Kontrol update is also available.

Hope all is well/goes well.

It's free and a nice toy for experimentation but not the tool you want to rely on for live performances or studio work. I bought into Element (paid for a permanent license) when it was introduced because I thought it had potential - but v1.0 still lurks somewhere over the distant horizon. Still has issues that existed from back before the developer decided to turn the project into open source.

Looks like the fixed the pricing descrepancy. I got charged a flat $7 even though price shown was like $7.40 ish

They just recently updated the Output Hub, new version fixed issues that I was having where closing the Hub downloaded a 'newer' version that corrupted the installation.

Out of stock in my area going out a ways...

Below $8 if you own one of the suites and upgrade through the suite

I might go Sphere if PreSonus threw those of us loyal enough to have purchased the latest Studio One and Notion a decent bone...

Don't have a problem with dongles but I have NO interest in the the iLok cloud. I'd rather depend on a dongle than on my WiFi & ISP provider. Worried about wear on your dongle? If we're talking about your USB dongle (instead of a groupie problem) then break down and spend $2 on a USB Extension cable and just leave it permanently connected to the dongle. Breakage worries? My iLok3 is a small profile metal beastie. If I accidentally slam it while it's plugged in (another good reason to use a USB extension cable) it's more likely to damage the USB port than the dongle. My eLicenser is made of plastic but it is also low profile.

I've got 2 of these on different systems running close to 24/365. Oldest is a 4TB version that's maybe 5 or more years old - no issues with either so far. That being said - I've learned the hard way that only a fool keeps his data on one device. I keep everything backed up on separate HDs.

Awesome portable HD. Runs totally off USB power. Small enough to easily fit in your laptop bag. Not an SSD but fast enough to do the job. Have one tethered to my laptop to store my downloads, less frequently used Kontakt libs, etc.

Argh... it's giving me the same codes that they supplied for the MPS3 upgrade...

For me this deal is worth it just for the Guitar De-noise and the Groove 3. Guitar De-noise works great with fixing the ear piercing squeaks you can get with piezo guitar pickups - just automate the reduction level in the problem areas.

Demos sound really nice but isn't that usually the case for every guitar sim out there? I don't really want to invest in yet another guitar amp ecosystem where I'm going to get nickel & dimed by multiple extension & additions. Maybe I'm just jaded...

FYI Tested Znaptiq UnMix against iZotope's Master Rebalance (thanks @paulo for reminder) and liked Rebalance better. Maybe not a fair test - my testing was limited to one song that I have which has multiple percussion instruments and the kick IMO is mixed too loud ('Monkey on My Back' under the my tunes link). In trying to reduce the kick - UnMix sucked all the life out of all the percussion & transients (even the santoor/hammered dulcimer), while Rebalance left the tablas & other percussion pretty much alone or at least affected them only minimally. UnMix might work great on a classic rock song where the only percussion was the drum kick kit and no piano. and no cowbell...

Not a Deal: Should I Use DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro?
TheSteven replied to Reid Rosefelt's topic in Deals
Premiere Pro is an industry standard. On the Mac side there's also Final Cut. -
No sub for me bub. So Pro is a no go.
