If you contact Melda support they will tell you why your upgrade price is what it is. Good or bad they track exactly what you've ever paid (on their site) for any plugin and for ones purchased through resellers they assume you paid 50%. Don't recall how they calculate private transfers. When I contacted them complaining about my upgrade prices they listed each qualifying plugin I owned and what I had paid for it and how much it contributed to the discount. Since I rarely buy plugins not on sale the total discount was lower than I had hoped, I didn't like it but it was consistent and accurate. If you have further complaints on this particular issue please list what Melda support said are the reasons why they quoted such a low upgrade price. We'd all be interested. But if you're just venting then a single post on this thread is more than sufficient.

While it would be nice if they allowed you to double dip and get both credit for a bundle upgrade then credit again for an LE to full version update - like mibby I don't see the big deal about it not being the case. Still I guess YMMV However they do allow you to use one bundle to upgrade to (get discounts on) another bundle...

It you bought anything from a reseller (company or individual) they assume you paid 50% of list price and work from there. Pretty straightforward.

Had to hunt around for how to claim this puppy... https://store.ubi.com/us/free-pc-games/?lang=en_US but not adding to my account... wonder if you have to install & run it to have it add... Edit As Mathew mentions in following post if you run the Launcher you'll see the game has been added to your account.

but you can hide them, that works quite well

$299 for v7 to v8 bah humbug! I'll not go to debtors prison over such a non-deal. Begone foul deal come back when you become a reasonable fellow.

Jeeeeez, you guys got me all excited. Subspace is not new. I installed the last update in June of 2019. Wasn't overly impressed by it back then either. This is like finding out that your hot blind date is your sister using an alias. Going to go take a cold shower...

D16 Group updates all SilverLine Collection Plugins
TheSteven replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Got answers from D16 support but it was a complicated, time consuming mess. Found simple fix: In Windows File Explorer go to C:\ProgramData\D16 Group\[PLUGIN-NAME] \Skins and then delete old skin files. -

OMG as if using plugins wasn't at times challenging enough - they now have genders? Is this part of the VST 4.0 spec? Will we need to address them by their proper pronouns to get support? Are we going to have misogynistic and misandristic plugins that won't work together? -

<sigh> Apparently the dev forgot to code in error handling to automatically select a default plugin size if none has been previously selected. In Windows - all of the updated VST plugs will give you this error when you use them... (no idea about on a MAC or with AAX versions) Here's how to fix so that you don't get this error every time you try to use the plugin. Open plugin and get past error message shown above by clicking on the OK button. then and repeat for every D16 updated VST you have installed. I created a support ticket with D16 about this... -

I really liked what I heard with Polychrome - unfortunately that's not included in this bundle only Impossible, New London and Tremor. -

What are your opinions on the presets? Wasn't overly impressed by the demo videos. -
If you look at a number of classic guitar pedals, such as the 'Big Muff' or FuzzFace, there was tremendous sonic variation within a given production run even though they all had the 'same' components. So if you're creating an emulation of something are you modeling the pearl or the lemon of a particular production run?
-
Then I take it that you're not a guitar player into pedals? Pretty hot market (at least price wise) in this area. Vintage doesn't necessarily mean used - more common is to use NOS (New Old Stock - 'new' unboxed parts found in back of warehouse, garage, etc) and yeah those parts may not 100% adhere to spec but many of them didn't even when new.

Finally appeared, showed up this morning. I update NA yesterday or day before - so at least for me it wasn't tied to the latest NA update.

How are these delivered - one package? separate codes? -

Too bad we can't use that $25 coupon on this ? In the process of both trying to talk myself into and out of buying it... The devilish 'you gotta buy it' imp on one shoulder is saying you've been waiting for this to go on sale... The pragmatic 'save your money' angel on the other is moaning that January isn't even over and you've already spent too much... and they're both saying hey don't get upset with us, blame LARRY?

I'd hold off running app (which will self update when you do) unless you need to install/reinstall something. New version of the Output Hub is a P.O.S. and won't recognize my login which still works fine on web site.

... nevermind - already been said...

Zo... this is what happens when you take the red pill and the blue pills together. You really need to listen to NPR or other news outlets that don't make shit up just to further their personal agendas or corporate interests. Anyway 'nuf said - I'm not getting into this discussion on this forum. Peace out.
