  1. I think I got all that. Do any of your VSTi plugins have MIDI out (set in the drop down menu in the plugin’s window’s toolbar) enabled? Also, are the MIDI ins of all of your MIDI track (and SIT's) set to a specific MIDI channel and to a specific MIDI controller?
  2. I have a PCR-800 where, on rare occasions, some knobs generate MIDI data on their own due to dust in there somewhere. I can usually fix this by using electrical contact cleaner in the offending knob or slider. Maybe this is happening with your MIDI controller's physical pitch bend wheel..... Strictly as a test, does it happen if you deselect “Pitch Wheel” in Preferences | MIDI | Playback and Recording?
  3. Have you also contacted the Auto Tune Artist vendor? See: https://antarestech.force.com/s/article/Out-of-place-Engine-Initialization-Failed
  4. What I do is in Cakewalk.ini file, I set RechannelMIDI=1. This can be done in Preferences(Advanced) | Initialisation File. (Option: RechannelMIDI, Value: 1) Now, whenever I bounce MIDI clips, The MIDI Channels of all events in the resultant clips change to match the channel you have given the MIDI track the MIDI clips are in. In my MIDI projects, I have 16 MIDI tracks each with their MIDI channels set accordingly. When I do Select all then bounce to clips, all MIDI channels in all MIDI tracks change to match the MIDI channel of their respective tracks. To make this easier, I have bound “A” to select all and “B” to Bounce to Clips.

I am glad you knew I meant 64bit....... but everything else you mention does apply to the 32bit ones.....
  6. Go to your IKM product page and download the files manually for the synths that exhibit this issue. I use IKPM for the actual authorisations only, For the synth installs, I always do these manually - never had ad issue doing it this way. Yes, I know IKPM should just work, but it still has issues with installs.

We need more information. Detailed PC specs? Audio interface settings (sample rate, bit depth and buffer size) Latest drivers for your Scarlett? (https://downloads.focusrite.com/focusrite) Plugins used and how many tracks? Bitness of plugins (32bit or 53bit:) Etc.
  8. I think the closest would be to split the keyboard and then adjust the octave range of each split. This would be done with from the keyboard itself rather then from the editor program. The PCR-800 can do this, the A-800 Pro should be able to as well.
  9. What sample rate, bit depth and buffer size are you using in CbB?
  10. It might be worth doing the following in relation to your audio interface. 1) Uninstall the driver 2) Download the latest version from the website (Do this even if you believe you had the latest version) 3) Reinstall the downloaded driver. When you say “Since a new windows 11 update”... are you meaning you upgraded from windows 10 to Windows 11, or do you mean you already had Amplitude working on Windows 11 and a Windows 11 specific update was installed? I am thinking roll back (Either back to Windows 10 or uninstall the update).
  11. Yes, Video and screensets are still supported. Cakewalk is probably set to use a Workspace that has these items hidden. Set workspace from “Basic” to “None” (top right).
  12. Just a note if any of you use pitch bend ranges in ST4, there is a bug in the latest version (4.20) where on patches that use the ST4 engine, the pitch bend range is double what you have actually dialled in on the edit screen. If pitch bend ranges are important, then I recommend using Version 4.16.
  13. I just tried 'Abundant Vineyards Pad' here on my set up... (As per signature). No crackling here in ST4.16 and Syntronik 2.01 - smooth as. You might want to check your levels.
  14. I imagine the fix would be to go to your IKM product page and download the sounds manually. This is precisely why I do not use the IKM product manager to do actual installs..... I just install the sounds manually - that works every time..
  15. I would imagine it is the number and size of the individual wave sets with this synth. I have downloaded GS-V, but I am holding off the install until I can justify the drive space. I believe I have other synths that cover what this one has. At 1Mb/s , you're looking at 3 days 3 hours to download GS-V. What speed is your internet plan supposed to deliver?
  16. Is this what you’re after? (do (include "need20.cal") ; Require version 2.0 or higher of CAL (int nTrk 1) (getInt nTrk "First destination track?" 1 256) (-- nTrk) ; CAL uses 0..255 (int nChannel 0) ; nChannel declaration and set to 0 (while (< nChannel 16) ; going from 0,1,2...15 (do (TrackName (format "Split Chan " (+ nChannel 1)) nTrk) (TrackActive TRUE nTrk) (TrackChannel nChannel nTrk) (++ nChannel) (++ nTrk) ) ) (pause "done") )
  17. In track view, select you midi track and then open the inspector (Press i ) It's under where you enter MIDI FX plugins..... look for three fields with “none”. The top one is the track's MIDI channel. Click on that to change from “none” to MIDI channel.
  18. I might be wrong on this, but I believe that what you need to set is the MIDI track's actual channel. (under where you enter any MIDI FX) When you create a MIDI track, the MIDI track's actual channel defaults to “none”. This will cause the MIDI channel of any events in that MIDI track to obey the MIDI channel of those actual events in the MIDI track. If you set the MIDI channel of your MIDI track to something other than “none” (ie a number from 1 to 16) - then any events in the MIDI track will use that channel. I sequence 16 channel MIDI files for an SW1000XG, which is a 32 track (I only use the first 16), multitimbral XG MIDI playback card. In CbB, I have 16 MIDI tracks. Each of those MIDI tracks has their MIDI channels numbered 1 to 16 respectively. This means that the MIDI channels use the MIDI track's MIDI channels. These MIDI channels settings override any channels set in the events themselves. This way, the notes and events get sent to the correct part on the SW1000XG. Personally, I have only ever used the PRV single Controller Lane for the many controllers I use in my sequences. I actually find these more flexible (and access to the transform tool)
  19. The only time 3D would be happening on your PC is when you are gaming. There are some plugins that will use the GPU for graphic rendering.... but this is not “3D”. Meldaproduction is an example of plugins that can use the GPU to speed up graphic rendering within the plugin. The reason drivers are updated is because the developers (who have a much deeper knowledge of their products than end users do) have found flaws in their code that end user would never have found. The “if it ain't broke don't fix it” argument is only really valid if you can say with absolute surety that it is not broken. Just because something appears to work properly, does not mean that are not any flaws. I always update..... Drivers, CbB, windows updates, etc.....but that's just me.
  20. Head over to Nvidia and download Nvidia's driver for the GTX 750 Ti . These will be more recent that Microsoft's driver. The most recent Nvidia drivers for the GTX 750 Ti is 512.95 and was released on May 24 2022 The nVidia control panel is actually required if you want to optimise your Nvidia card. I have these drivers installed with a GTX960 and it's working fine as well. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/189681/en-us What I also do is use NVSlimmer to repackage the driver to remove a lot of the Nvidia stuff I don't need. When I repackage, I deselect everything except Core Display Driver, Install core and PhysX https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvslimmer-nvidia-driver-slimming-utility.423072/
  21. I think it might be better to lodge an actual support ticket with Cakewalk support. A screen recording (using something like OBS Studio not using phone) would be handy as well so the Bakers can actually see the issue in action - it should be fairly easy for them to reproduce. https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000025633 On a side note: As a test, I opened up Sonar Platinum and “zapped” all bindings - the delay in the Keybindings Preference dialogue box still happened. So it's probably not from the database getting its knickers in a knot from years of adding custom keybindings (which I have done)
  22. I have noticed this here as well for a while now in all CbB releases...I just have learned to live with it. (It even happened in Sonar Platinum)
  23. What you have to do is enable “MIDI in” on the plugin that you want to control with MIDI (top toolbar of the plugin window when it says VST2 or VST3) Create a new MIDI track, with Echo on ,and then route that new MIDI track to the plugin that you have enabled “MIDI in” on (the same place where you route the MIDI data to a synth) As a test (and to make sure it works), I created a Simple Instrument Track of AAS Strum-GS with a dry electric guitar (no internal effects enabled). I inserted an instance of Amplitude 5 on that Simple Instrument Track. I enabled “MIDI in” on Amplitude 5 On Amplitude 5 I create a preset that includes a WAH pedal. I created a new track and routed the MIDI data from this track to Amplitude 5. I enabled local echo on this MIDI track. I opened the Amplitude 5 GUI and Enabled MIDI learn on the Amplitude 5 Wah pedal that I added I moved my foot controller (which I know transmits CC1 events values) The mapping was created. Now I can control WAH in Amplitude 5 with the foot while playing Strum-GS. I hope that helps.
  24. Definitely. I use AutoHotkey scripts all the time. Same goes for CAL and Studioware Panels - but that's a topic for separate thread.
