FEATURE REQ - Ability to Easily View and Edit Bank/Patch Events
Promidi replied to Michael Ennis's topic in Feedback Loop
I believe that a patch/bank controller lane in the PRV that can look up patches as defined by a VST or an INS file would be much easier. Patches are easier to look up by defined names than trying to remember what patch number is assigned to what patch/bank - especially when you are using a synth that has over 1250 patches (which I do). Until then I am just going to continue using the standard Insert Patch/Bank command to insert patch/bank changes. -
Xpand2 won't play with Midi Controller
Promidi replied to Mike Andress's topic in Instruments & Effects
At the same location where you set Xpand2’s MIDI track’s input to the Virtual controller, set it to the Keystation and to MIDI Ch. 1 (not Omni) Make sure the Keystation is transmitting on channel 1 Set the MIDI channel of the Xpand2 MIDI track to Channel 1 (rather than the default “None”) This is all assuming the Keystation is visible and selected in Preferences - MIDI - Devices, under “inputs” -
Why Did Bandlab Change So Many Default Features From Sonar?
Promidi replied to criticsconfession's question in Q&A
This is call quick groups. You can adjust multiple track's parameters by holding ctrl while adjusting that parameter. This works for many parameters, not just level This is single lane controllers. This view can be reverted back to multi controller lane by heading to PRV menu - Vew - Show Multiple Lanes Note: I am the opposite. I use many controllers in each MIDI track. Multi controller lane view made these hard to work with (each land was too narrow). In fact, I only updated to Sonar Platinum when single lane controller view were introduced. I have only ever used Single Lane Controller View in PRV. I could not even imagine going back to Sonar Platinum for MIDI editing. -
Is Dim pro listed on your Cakewalk Command Centre?
-
I am glad I did....

As above Download directly from here: https://www.uvi.net/uvi-workstation.html#download Or update via the UVI Portal

No - The transform tool only works on Controller events and note events in the PRV.

Early June versions were BETA versions. The public release happened just recently.....

The way I would do this is I find a vsti synth that has a MIDI thru function (at $AU599, I would expect KonTakt to be able to do this) - enable its MIDI out. Then use this as the source for any MIDI tracks or Simple Instrument Tracks (SITs). Where you select this is at the same place where you set which MIDI controller to use for a given MIDI track or Simple Instrument Track. Remember that for any of these MIDI tracks, you have to enable Input Echo (You could also group these). It would be nice if the devs added MIDI sends in the same way we have sends on audio tracks.

As above. https://www.meldaproduction.com/downloads Note: Even though the download page for V16.00 plugins state that this version “Includes 32-bit and 64-bit plugins”, the “Changes” page states "Also note that V16 no longer provides 32-bit plugins on Windows". This dependency should be corrected soon. I performed an install of V16.00 and indeed, 32bit plugins were not offered.

Can we please have advances for the PRV transform tool. One I can think of is holding CTRL while scaling makes the pivot point for scaling the centre of the transform rectangle.

suggestion Addition of more video options for writing music to picture
Promidi replied to Kevin Bias's topic in Feedback Loop
I can do this (slide it within the timeline) -
Is this the windows 10 firewall or a third party firewall?
-
I would rather further development go into bug fixes, performance enhancements and new CbB enhancements (like MIDI editing functions, eg) rather than working on items that can be easily handled by third party plugins.

suggestion Addition of more video options for writing music to picture
Promidi replied to Kevin Bias's topic in Feedback Loop
I am able to do this The only setting I can think of that may allow this is described here: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk... Mine is set to VideoEngine=0 -
I doubt it.

Note: Requires the FULL Retail version of Kontakt

Add ability to filter directly on the Event View - Minor
Promidi replied to Terry Kelley's topic in Feedback Loop
You can also add keybindings that are specific to the Event List Vew -
Make sure your nanoKontrol2 is actually transmitting CC events when you adjust a control. (Check the user guide for the nanoKontrol2) For the MIDI track that has its output set to your VSTi: Enable “Local echo” Make sure the nanoKontrol2 is set as its input Check the user guide of what ever VST you are wanting to control and look for MIDI learn to attach a controller to a VSTi parameter. Enable MIDI learn on the VSTi while moving controller on the nanoKontrol2. ARM MIDI track, then record MIDI events as you would any other MIDI events - then adjust control on the nanoKontrol2.
-
Select All tracks containing the events you want to delete. Then Main Menu - Edit - Select - By Filter. Then put a tick next to the event types you wish to delete. (You can even save presets of selection criteria). Hit Delete.

You'll have to define “Polyphonic Elastic Audio” so we know what you actually mean.
