  1. "Eventide's plug-ins do not require an iLok USB dongle. However, they do use the iLok Licensing system, which is installed during plug-in installation."
  2. I've admired Ken Parker's designs for years; more recently enjoyed his Archtoppery series on Youtube - fantastic stuff even if you are not an engineer or luthier, to see a genius craftsman at work, willingly sharing his insights and techniques. Now he needs help paying for cancer treatment. If you are able to, please consider dropping a few $ on his GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-ken-...le-with-cancer Archtoppery on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@kenparkerarchtoppery9440
  3. I think this was removed a long time ago - the default (and only) behavior is per-project audio folders. It used to be under Preferences > File > Audio Data > [x] Use per-project audio folders, and I've confirmed it is there in SONAR X2.
  4. In case it helps, I have found Synchro Arts' RePitch to be a very acceptable replacement to V-Vocal.
  5. It is definitely part of V-Vocal. If you have a project where the V-Vocal Clip FX wasn't rendered out to audio (applied) then you may be out of luck.
  6. Preferences > colors > [x] Show Strip Colors
  7. Yes, even audio formats that don't support any kind of marker information!!! /snark
  8. I love Frozen Plain, curious about sound samples of this one EDIT: Ah, here are some
  9. Some kind of coherent narrative can help with the response count
  10. For the love of god, let it go Good News: you are entitled to upgrade to the new Sonar for a very low price.
  11. I don't get this. I mean, sure, custom theming is not supported (yet, cross fingers) but the Mercury Classic color scheme is near as identical to Mercury in Cakewalk By Bandlab.
  12. Some VST plugins manage their own presets and have their own locations. Cakewalk's VST subsystem has its own way of saving presets, available from the VST window header, which works for ALL plugins and of course which works great for plugins that don't do their own preset management and rely on the host's capabilities. Yeah, preset management is a pain, I feel you
  13. My DAW is frozen at a relatively older version of Windows 10 and I've never had any issues whatsoever. Microsoft ended support of it years ago. The sky is still blue and the sun comes up in the morning.
  14. Uh, okay! I would never to this, but if it is working for you, great! there's always multiple ways to get things done. Respect.
  15. Did you save the session with a known name to a known location? Portable hard drive no longer connected? Search your drives for the file name, or heck, *.cwp? If Sonar didn't actually crash or show an error , then I bet the .cwp does exist somewhere.
  16. I don't know why they are not freezing but that sounds like a sub-optimal way to achieve your end-goal. You really have a separate instance of AD2 per drum ? Any reason why you are not using a single virtual instrument track for AD2, driving it by multiple MIDI tracks? Just one instance of AD2?
  17. Oh - and we can still fire up CbB and load themes as a source of inspiration, going forward. That hasn't gone away.
  18. Shucks Erik, thank you. It's amazing what you can achieve when you are between jobs and have people appreciating your efforts. I echo your sentiments. I've been mourning the loss of theming also, but looking forward to what is coming - cross fingers - with respect to color customization in New Sonar. However for those of you expecting a "Young Lady's Primer to Color Theming in New Sonar", please don't hold your breath waiting for it 😄
  19. Ugh, I've never used it. Yeah that's suboptimal for me too. I don't know whether we should log bugs/feature requests for individual color tweaks or just group them all under a general "hurry up with user color customization already" thread.
