  1. I enjoyed the song, Øyvind! 2nd mix is definitely better. As far as doubling the vocals, a doubler will work, but it sounds so much better if you actually resing the tracks. I usually will sing two extra tracks. Pan the main one up the middle, the drop the other two tracks about 10-15db, and pan them 30% left and 30% right. Try it man, I think you'll like the results. Great song though!
  2. Yeah, I like this! It reminds me of some old Rainbow from the Joe Lynn Turner era. I liked everything about it! I'll be returning to listen again! Nice job Phoenix!
  3. That was really cool Wook! I like this one a lot! It put me in a very reflective mood. The stereo interplay was nice as well. Nice job on this!
  4. Very cool. I just replaced the jack on my SG last year. I wish I would have known about them. Thanks for the info!

    Dad's Song

Hi Gary! It doesn't sound disrespectful at all, my friend. The song was meant as a celebration of his freedom from emphysema, as well as a number of other ailments he had suffered with for so long. That means a lot that it made you smile! I liked that lyric about the big block Chevy too. Thanks so much for listening, and for your kind words!
  6. Hey Craig, Thank you so much for the kind words about my Dad. And I agree, it's hard to understand why some dirtbags get to be healthy, while some good people end up with issues. Glad you like the song man! My Dad was a rocker, and brought me up on Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis, etc. Then when he discovered AC/DC, he loved them because they had that same straight forward style bluesy rock sound, just harder. I knew if I was gonna write a song for him that he would not want some sad, sappy song. So I wrote him an AC/DC song!?
  7. Hey I just wanted to let y'all know that I posted a youtube video of the song. Thanks everyone!?

  14. Wow... And to think, I spent $249 for it when it first came out. That's an awesome deal. I use Kramer Tape on every drum buss. I love it.

    Dad's Song

I'm sorry for your loss as well, John. Thank you for the kind words man. I intentionally made it sound like AC/DC because my Dad really liked them. I wasn't expecting the Foreigner comparison though, but I'll take it! Thanks again man!

  19. Awesome tribute man, and cool song. I'm really sorry for your loss. 57 is way too young. It's great that you have all those memories and the song to look back on. Not to be dense, but is that where the 57 in your username comes from?

  22. Your songs always make me smile, Daryl.? Clever lyrics, a wonderful pop rhythm, and your great vocal delivery. I don't have any nits or crits . I like it just the way it is. Excellent song man!
  23. I'm not sure what you're really trying to say....?? Really cool track man!
  24. This is excellent Skyline!! Love the smoky beat, the smooth solo guitar, the great vocals. This is brilliant man! I would suggest maybe pushing the volume of one of those vocal tracks above the other to focus your vocals a little more. Great song man!
