Speaking of Jupiter, I get a real outer space traveling feeling from this one. Traveling along on synth waves. Sounds great thanks for the enjoyable journey! Treesha

No matter how many times you say it, it isnt true. But it is said often on the news etc in US. Good mockery jack.

As always, great stuff, great mix. Very interesting video too. Lyrically, yeah what times we live in, so I appreciate your messaging too. Treesha

Very well done ! All the instruments and vocals sound great and the mix is great too. I like the sax and guitar playing together. Love the guitar tone and phrases. The video expresses the song well. I had to think being close to US Thankgiving that likely some families sadly will have more discord than usual this year. I too hope your release gets the attention it deserves. Treesha

Nice, really smooth. Your vocals remind me of someone but cant say who at this moment. The sax is sweet and sad. I like the percussive elements. The mix is good. Enjoying it!

Hi jack c Thanks for listening and your comment. I only wish I was as prolific as you are ha ! Glad you think its cool! Treesha

Hi KSBand, well thank you! Guess I'm a little late ha. I do have a good bit of 80's in me so not surprising to hear. It was a fun time and I liked a lot of 80s music. Thanks for listening and your comment, Treesha

Hi equality, Yes it has a kinda psychedelic vibe to it especially the video. I kinda just looked around at the sites that have free video clips and looked for stuff I thought would work, so it just happened that way. Thanks for listening and your positive feedback! Funny the harmonies were necessary masking/distraction because my voice was so bad from pollen and smoke, but fun to do as always. Treesha

Hi Bjorn, Thanks for listening and your comment. Sorry you can totally relate! Appreciate your positive feedback, Treesha

Yes that’s what I like, thanks for explaining.

I like the alt instrumental genre. Nice patterns. I was getting all relaxed when the strings changed that. Unexpected changes. I was having a little trouble feeling the rhythm in the first part mostly. This is when melodyne comes in very handy for me! Sounds good and I think you should have used a triangle in it ha.

Big, I like it! the mix sounds great. Instruments and vocals well done. I havent been here in a while so if you shared about court stuff I dont know whats going on, but wish you the best. What reverb are you using on the vocals at the word done where it goes long?, sound great.

Agree with LarryTs comment. The dissonance is interesting and has consonance. The guitar part is nice. The title drew me, reminding me of Jamaican dub poet Mutabaruka's piece called Dis Poem. Enjoyed your work!

How fun ! So glad you had these special times with your very talented daughter. Ive done a little music with my 2 sons both of whom are musicians and better at some stuff than I am and its a great way to enjoy each other and share moments. I think the vocals are great and do get lost in the instrumentation. I enjoy the instrumentation very much. The mood of the song is great and it all suits her voice and attitude very well. Congrats dad ! you did a good thing. Is she off to study music?

Hi Jane, welcome to the song forum if this is your first post (I think it is?) . Well you should be excited, your experience singing and songwriting and playing shows. Very lovely all around. If you are just getting back into using your daw, and as you say your songs sound different on different sound systems, it can be confusing but normal I think. There are some vsts that allow you to hear in the daw how things will sound on different sound systems, I think a few free ones, that might help you be less confused about it. For me the main thing seems to be to get the low end heard on something like a phone, which is challenging. What is your area of concern? Lots of good advice here, Treesha

Hi jack, You are so prolific ! Interesting as usual. I like that I can hear your voice better than other songs of yours I have commented on. As mysterious as ever. Keep up the good work.

I don't know the song, but your version is great! Has the right attitude, the mix is very good, the guitars sound excellent, enjoy your singing, nice little moments mixed in here and there, so yes, call this one done and done very well! So yeah keep your energy going

Been a while, so this is my song of this past summer which was so hot I had fans and ac blasting 24 hours a day and it was hard to work on music. It's my first song video with clips put together and some fx here and there. I have a lot to learn about video making but it’s fun. I used Si bass, a Sampletank organ, a few aas swatches, new nation blaque guitar with TH3, Stagecraft Theramin, Session drummer and a few Kontakt synths here and there. My notes on this one are pretty bad so that’s what I pieced together from my scribbles. It took months to do because of well, my vertigogo, (still happens at times ) plus the pollen and wildfire smoke were bad making my voice not useable most of the time, and all the noise in my place and at times it being simply too hot and impossible to go into my studio area at all. I didn't feel that I could listen well to anyone else's songs here under the conditions either. But I persevered and this is the result. I had fun making it all and enjoyed finding humor about vertigo. Feedback always welcome, thanks for listening ! Treesha Vertigogo I got the Vertigogo, when is it gonna gogo? I got the Vertigogo, I really want it to gogo? Standing on this global world Dancing like I’m being twirled Getting spun and getting whirled Everything is swirly-swirl Don’t have to go to an amusement park Have to be careful in the dark Which ways up, which ways down If I’m not careful I’ll be on the ground Spinning, Spinning Spinning Spinning, the world is spinning Vertigogo, when will it go go go go? O Vertigo, I got to move in slow mo I got Vertigogo, it’s like a brain tornado I wish it would stop before I drop Before I flop OH NO NO Been spinning for a while Probably went a mile I’m getting nowhere fast My future’s in the past This crooked world is spinning Moving through outer space Why do we have to spin so fast Is this a cosmic race? Kaleidoscope within Turning while I spin I’m being so misled By the vortex in my head No no no no no I don’t like Vertigo This stupid bop has got to stop This stuff has got to go Spinning. spinning spinning Spinning spinning Spinning spinning, spinning spinning The world is spinning, the world is spinning Wanna go for a spin NO THANK YOU, NO THANK YOU

Is this Ample Sound Guitar out of tune?
treesha replied to Roy Slough's topic in Instruments & Effects
Hi, I can’t get the video to play and it says zero so very small ha, but from my experience looking at vst instruments in melodyne, it was surprising that from a perfect midi note, if it sounds off and I look at it in melodyne, it will be off. I’m currently fixing a vst bass track. I have had to fix strings, guitars, synths. So I have experienced and checked into it and the way I fix it is melodyne. I recently watched a video about vst guitars and it says sometimes it sounds better with fewer notes in the chord. -
What he said (mettelus). I have studio so I don't know about what the essentials options are. For me the options is top left with those choices in there. Funny today I was using it a lot with both those checked and more often than not melodyne did not open at/zoom at my cakewalk timeline selection. I had to play find the blobs. Still I love this program and dealing with its quirks doesn't change that ha. Hope you can find these in your options and see if they help.

FIRST is a reverb library consisting of 30 IRs and 30 presets for rematrix. In DrShelder post there are issues with them not working after they are loaded in, same for me. So there is something not working right with these at the moment.

I just watched a good video that mentioned the clips follow selection setting so engaged it. Always more to learn with this amazing beast of a program. Yeah I cant explain the times its ok from when its not blobbing. PS. Thanks for your PS. I had the hottest most unbearable late spring - summer plus (it actually just started to be winter now all of a sudden) so it was difficult to work on music with air conditioners and fans blasting month after month. I have a few songs done and will post very soon, but during this record breaking heat time I didnt feel like I could listen well to other peoples work on the song forum and thats part of what I like to do there. Took the time to learn some stuff, made my first song video (named Vertigogo), couldnt sing, just rough times!

I uninstalled both after I saw it would be running all the time
