How can I save the (docked) Browsers Look?
Wookiee replied to Heinz Hupfer's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
@Heinz Hupfer the easiest way to keep them for new projects is to. 1. Open an empty project. 2. Set Workspaces to none. 3. You will need to insert one track. 4. Arrange all your windows how you want them. 5. Now save this a a template. 6. In the start screen make this your default template. 7. Start all new projects with this template. You can make other templates but always start with this one. -
Nice to know it invoked some interesting images for you, thanks for your time listening and commenting. Appreciated.

Thank you sir, you groove well yourself.

@RezerektedNo idea how you change from the trial to the yearly. I suspect you will be given the option, but contact support. Everything you previously owned should be available through the new version of the Cakewalk Command Centre. That should all be installed prior to using the Cakewalk Product Centre to install Sonar & Next 8f so desired.

Thanks Nigel, all the Moogerfooger's add something to the sound. Appreciate your time and ears.

Thank you Bjorn, your own is pretty cool.

It sounds OK, your card may well be an issue what driver are you using.

I enjoyed them both @Jerry Gerber, I did find the second one "The 4th Movement" sounded louder than the first "The 2nd Movement" Both very enjoyable listening, mix sounds good here with plenty of separation in the voicing.

My first experience of morphine I was just a little, 13 year old, Wookielet with acute appendicitis. Nice song, cool lyrics, nicely captured.

Nicely done sir. Clean mix with air and space.

Thanks, I use Breverb as a global reverb to glue it all together.

@Ricebug I believe Cakewalk keeps metadata about the location of its subfolders in the project. Consequently when you drag the project to another drive and then open it from the new location it doesn't know where the Audio folder is. E.G. You original save would have been E:\Cakewalk projects\opus 1 with a sub directory of E\Cakewalk Projects \Opus 1\Audio. Your drag location is now H:\Cakewalk backup\Opus1 but the project still thinks the audio is on your E:\ drive. Cakewalk does give you the option to locate the files it can't find, you know where you put the top level folder, just navigate to it and all will be sorted. Remember to "Save as" to the new location the first time you save this edited file.

Reviving Old Projects from 2012...
Wookiee replied to mattplaysguitar's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
@mattplaysguitar very early versions of SONAR came with Guitar Rig 3 possibly 4 but never Guitar Rig 5. Install the NI plugin manager will get you your Guitar Rig. BFD 2 is another third party drums from FXexpansion. The limiter is another third party product. All the Sonar stuff is available through the new version of the CCC. -
Have you considered placing installers on a separate drive where possible?

Sounds good here on my 5.1 system. Your usual quality writing, nice transparent mix. 😀

You have captured a lazy groove for the leaves, nice as ever Freddy. I had a similar problem recently, chest infection.
-
What throat lozenges do you use mix works OK here, I can hear everything.

The bass is a little OTT here on my Adam A7x, through the ARC Studio. Have you tried a little narrow cut around 80Hz on your Bass guitar and a little lifft on your kick in the 3 to 4kHz can really help the kick stand out on systems without and bottom. Nice track, mix worked for most of it. Like Mark not keen on the fake vinyl hiss, perhaps some natural sounds, gentle wind, a few birds twittering.
